I am curious as to what 8 questions are more pressing than this one.
2011 - Smart posters warned everyone else, Fitzpatrick was a waste of a year. Now we all know.
2012 - Smart posters warned everyone else another season of Gailey was a waste of a year. Now we all know
2013 - Smart posters are warning everyone else another year of brandon/nix is a waste of a year. Next year we will all know.

I sure hope so. But if he throws 500+ passes we are doomed.

If HC Chan Gailey doesn't help his QB a little bit by running the football and focusing in on the TE position more like most successful offenses do, as much as I like Coach Gailey, I will begin to question his approach when it comes to winning football games.

With that being said, OTA's and minicamp suggests Gailey is right on top of the situation.

Oh boy, a Fitz thread to start the week and by the mod no less and a sticky to boot!

We know how most feel here so I'll add to the repetitious Fitz thread once again.

One can only hope at this point. until the season starts and he goes to work on the field there is room for the doubter based on his past body of work.

Stay healthy and bring down the int % considerably, pick up the accuracy and be more consistent then you have your answer OP. I'm hoping the off season training has the kid ready to perform and helps to lead the team to more wins this season.

So can he be a "High Rank QB"?

    No..

top 10 would get the job done or even top 15 maybe

    I agree with you here.

Anyway, I'd like to express that it's very interesting to me how personally Lee takes his job. He calls Fitz's position "our" position. He's not just there to try to improve the QB, he feels that their fates are intertwined. Like Fitz is an extension of himself. I know most QB coaches should be this way, but I've never heard one speak about their job like he does.

I think we're going to see improvement across the board with our football team. We've literally lost no one of great value (with the exception of maybe Florence) and all these guys now have a full off season to work together. Not to mention Fitz's improved accuracy thanks to Lee.

Upper echelon? Not from anything I have seen in his career. Slightly above average with a full offseason and Lee, .........now that is a possibility.

No one could have responded to this thread better than this! Enough said.

(That is of course unless Questions 1 thru 7 are all focused on whether the Bills wear BLUE PANTS on the road this year.)
