Except we do NOT have the 49ers defense. Not yet anyway.
No more meaningful Football in 2012.

All he has to od is up his TD's passes by 5 or more, and reduce his INT's by 5 or more and Fitz will be good enough.

He's never going to match a Brees, Brady or Peyton in performance, but he can manage a game and be very effective

All that needs to be said about the QBs is that they're all flawed and mediocre and shouldn't be taken anywhere in the first round. None of them.

I think he can be a 15-10 range ranked QB. I don't think he is a top 10 QB

I tend to agree with this. I believe that Fitz needs to be a game managing type of QB. That fits his skill set better. He can have a lower YPA, get the ball out fast, like he did last season. But he would definitely need to fix the INT problem. Successful game managing QB situations do not involve a QB that leads the league in turn overs.

Above average is possibly all we need to get to the big show, if our defense and run game are as good as we think it is.

Possible. But we still need to see what this defense can do on the field.

the answer is there for everyone to see. The games that were close and the defense played well for the most part Fitz either won or gave us a chance to win. Defense sustains injuries, offense sustains injuries, and we are getting scored on left and right and he can't carry the team. Maybe that removes him from upper echelon so I can see why people would say he can't be upper echelon. Get him some help, a few less injuries, a better defense, run the ball more and he will put up decent numbers and win games.
