Did I miss something here? Since when did Vince Young suddenly loose every bit of God-given talent that he came into the league with? This guy is a WINNER and a phenomenal athlete! He needs the right coaching staff, locker room and a bit of self-guided maturity (humility), which I beleive he will now have.

I really liked Colin K, and would pick him up in a heart beat. I would like Fitz, VY, and Colin K. Oh and forget Brad Smith, just list him as a WR. Does he really need the microphone in his helmet?

Tough but fair.

Like I said though, he has accuracy, arm strength, athleticism, and SEEMS to be a bright kid. Those are some things to consider in a "project QB". If the Bills are in a position of need after this season, I certainly will not be interested in another coaches project. I think VY is here for the long haul. I think this is what he needs, and unlike last year, if Fitz is hurt, we'll see the back up.

But Im hoping that at the end of the season, we'll be talking about all the good things that Fitz has done.

Last season they carried Smith as the starter, Kaepernick was the backs and Tolzien was the third guy.

I would expect them to carry three again with Johnson replacing Tolzien.

If one was releaced though - Kaepernick over Young or Thigpen.

I don't see them releasing Kaepernick - Harbaugh thought a lot of him - and if they kept three last year, they will do the same this year

How about running up the score vs the Pac 10? 52 points against a Cal team that Luck put 48 on but Oregon only scored 15 against.

52 points on an unranked team while running a rediculous, gimick offense whereas the best QB prospect since Peyton Manning only put up a mere 48. Wow. Luck is Trent Edwards compared to Colin "Joe Montana 2.0" Kaepernick. Let's say Luke McCown is the starting QB and beats the Bills by putting up 38 points but Brady only puts up 35 against the Bills. You'd probably say that Luke McCown is a better QB than Brady. Just go back to your little slumber party with Kaepernick and Mercilus.

Excuse me? For one thing he almost single-handedly won the National Championship for Texas against USC in the Rose Bowl in what is arguably the greatest college football game ever played. And it was NOT a gimmick offense! (And those are NOT Division 2 programs.)

And if my facts are correct, he has a winning record as a starting PRO QB as well.

And our current starting QB has won exactly what again? And played where in college?
