Yeah you've been to Georgia. I didn't go to school in GA there genius. I spent most of my school years in Montana. The high school I went to was rated the 4th best in the nation for public schools. I love how lame people get when they try to make a dig on GA against me, it's hilarious. And trying to pick my post apart for sentence structure on the internet? Pathetic.

boy this has turned into an interesting thread.

from why you believe in Fitz, to grammar and sentence structure and where one went to high school.

one thing is for certain, the said such QB was a Harvard grad, wonder how he would rate the grammar in this thread?

The question should be, why wouldn't you billieve in fitz? He's our quarterback and you want us to win? ~homer

I think you need to change your name to Iceman then and work Top Gun quotes into every thread. You're dangerous.

don't worry, vy will come in and save the team and give you 5 sb wins.

just curious though, can you research for me, I mean your a stats kind of guy who seems to be on the ball but research for me any nfl qb that has won 5 sb's. not the team mind you, but the qb that helped lead his team to 5 sb wins. I can tell you who lost 4, I'll give a little hint, the closest to 5 wins was terry bradshaw and joe montana with 4 but let me know who won 5?

I'll periodically check back for your answer and thank you, I always have appreciated members here that are full of stats information.

We believe in Fitz just like we believed in Trent, JP, Rob, Todd and all the rest. He's our guy at the moment and that's what matters. We really don't know any better until he's gone and we get to see the other side. GO BILLS!

Fitz is better than all those guys. Whether he is good enough will be answered this season.

Funny thing. Read all the fantasy football mags and you'll see they have him ranked 15 or 16 or "solid". Doesn't exactly match your "expert" appraisal. huh?

You call it bragging. I call it blowing huge holes in your lame assumptions. Yet some how you try to make me into the troll. Bashing grammar and sentence structure, making lame assumptions, being called out on those lame assumptions and then deflecting. Seriously. New lows here...So effing pathetic.

to see him come in as an irrelevant FA signing to a dying team with little key offensive players and become relevant around the league along with the non-key offensive players building names for themselves is intoxicating.

I myself wonder who made who in all of this. Did Chan build a team with a future or did fitz stevie and FJ do it? does fitz make stevie look good or the other way around?

Only time will tell. This does seem to be the team of misfit toys - until we signed Mario, our biggest stars were UDFAs, 7th round picks and guys that other teams gave up on. Byrd, Wood and others nonwithstanding, this team is built around castoffs or late round picks. That is what is beautiful about this team - can you imagine if this team does make the playoffs? The stories that can be told/

To the original question. Fitz has shown flashes - without ever being a first team QB with a full off season in his career - this year is different - for the first time, he is the guy - through OTAs, camp, preseason, everything - check his history - never before did he have that experience. We that have faith in him are counting on that fact to make a difference in his performance. Those that cite his "career" stats are comparing apples and oranges - all that does not matter - this is the year to see what he is made of. I think he will do well and David Lee will be a big part of that
    Looking forward to 2013:

Manuel - most upside in the draft
Woods - most pro ready WR
Alonso - tall ILB with coverage skills
Goodwin - fastest WR in draft
Duke Williams - prince of a pick
Meeks - no he is not
Hopkins - best K prospect in the draft
    Gragg - vertical threat TE

Go ahead and complain - I am happy with this draft
Adopt a Bill - first choice Alonso, second Goodwin

Hahaha nah it's just fun getting a rise out of a Fitz hater. Go troll elsewhere.

now this is an intteresting take.

    lets see ...

chan comes in, doesnt like any of our qb's initially ... then fitz actually ends up on the qb bubble and comes really close to getting cut. chan's wisdom says trent edwards is the better qb. trent proves chan wrong not 4 weeks into the regular season ... fitz gets the starting job by default ...

    interesting.

but it seems the bottom line opinion for most is .... they like fitz not because he is great. they like fitz because he is all that we got. translation ... it dont really matter who the bills starting qb is because whomever it is ... there are going to be fans that do nothing but sing the praises of the guy and attempt to dismiss anyone that does not see the sunshine coming out of that qb's butt. its just the way it is. but history has shown its the taste the rainbow folks that have the meltdowns during the season when the happy happy joy joy doesnt pan out.

fitz is the only bills qb since bledsoe to be at the helm when the bills beat the pats. ummm ... we didnt beat the pats. the pats lost to us and they only lost because they ran out of time. 4 tom brady interceptions and the bills still just hung on to win by 3 points. you want to know what is more telling ... not that we beat new england in a game at that stage of the season didnt really mean a lot .... we went 4 and a half games after that without a meaningful offensive touchdown. those are the types of things that get qb's benched. those are the types of things that get OC's fired. those are the types of things that get HC's fired. and the funny thing is the bills went into a similar slump the year before last.

just wait and see. you are going to have 2 groups ... the overly crtical and the mass groups talking about how negative the board is. i dont see where this year is going to be any different other than we play the jets early this year. so once the blue print is shown to everyone again ... we might start our ineffective offense earlier this year.

ummmmm ... go bills .... and im going to enjoy this year just like last year and the year before that and the year before that.

too many people are already going into this season with low expectations. yet another year with this team showing they are not ready for prime time. prime time meaning playoffs. and im sorry ... if you back in wildcard weekend and get smoked .... you werent ready and had no business being there. not that i think this team wil even back in.

now que the go root for another team people ....
Is today the day that i get Banned ?
