US and Canada need to get their **** in order and open the borders. It makes no sense that average citizens of both countries get practically molested by border agents crossing between the two countries. The cultures, economies, and values of both countries are so similar and so intertwined. Europe has recognized the similarities between countries and have open borders and it has benefited them tremendously. Why can't US and Canada do the same?

This is the way it used to be. People in and around Buffalo/Niagara Falls used to go to Canada much like people here in the Southern Tier go to Pennsylvania. Up in northern NY and Vermont, a lot of the land border crossings through less traveled roads weren't even manned: there were just empty little buildings and signs welcoming you to the country.

Having to have a passport or even an enhanced drivers license or NEXUS card to go between the countries is just stupid. All it does is make crossing the border more difficult for ordinary people because the would-be terrorists and/or would-be illegal immigrants are going to either have false documents anyways or will lie.

No the man is correct, WNY has not really been able to afford the Bills for years. A team can not survive even with sellouts having the lowest ticket prices in the NFL. Time for the team to move

I'm still tryig to figure out how the Ancients built stadiums that lasted 1000's of year, were serviceable for 100's, and now after about 40 years at the longest you have to build a new one, and demolish the other!!!

The problem is not the stadium, the problem is since 1960 Buffalo , and the entire western NY region has seen a mass exodus! The Economy is going to continue to collapse in the king of the Rust Belt cities. Why would corporations buy suites, and advertizing, which is where the real money comes from, in a city where the residents are mostly impoverished by national standards. Corporations want to do business in places where people have money. Meanwhile Canada's dollars is worth more than ares, the average income is higher, and Toronto is the Capital of the 5th largest city in North America, and the Corporate Capital of the US largest trading partner!!!. How could anyone think Buffalo/Erie county is viable. No one would even consider putting a curling team in Buffalo today, much less a NFL franchise! Face it, it would be the best thing for the Bills franchise to get the heck away from that giant meth lab!

Thats right Timothy McVay and all these lone gunmen from the heartland are illegal immigrants LMAO The reason is that Politicians in the US cannot afford to take the chance of some nut case getting across the border and doing something in the Northeast, is the political fallout they will suffer anytime anything happens. That is what will happen. The public will biatch and complain about the hassle in security, but if they relaxed and something happens the mindless mob will say they are weak on security, and if something happens with the molestations they can say well we wanted to make the border safer but the voters did not want it!!

As always a society gets the government it wants, in this case it gets the government that allows society to keep the delusion of whatever it wants!

Hamilton? Seriously? First off the Mayor of Hamilton is a true blue die hard CFL Ti-Cats fan. Second, Hamilton is getting a new stadium, but its for the Ti-Cats. Third the NFL is never, ever going to come to Canada. Not ever, ever,ever.
