Cam would have not been run out of town your way off on the fans of Buffalo. We want a top prospect that has that fire to win, that fire to be great. With fitz there is no fire, there is no hope there is no chance and now there is no TDs. The fans feed off of that fire, that will, the unknown.

OBD cant give us a guy like Kelly that took over the AFC in the SB years and then replace him with nothing but Frank Reichs. No hate on Frank I love ya man but Without Kellys talent we would have never made the SBs over and over again.
I dont believe this. I dont believe it for one second. Look, I want a QB too but Bills fans are fickle and impatient. We could have drafted Cam Newton and he would be getting the same hate as Fitz. People dont just want a QB around here, they want winning results. Anything they feel is the problem they will run out of town after 5 games. We could draft number 1 pick next year. If that QB doesnt produce instant results... you will all just say Nix failed to get the right QB, wont matter who it is or how many of you wanted that same QB pre draft... it will all be Nix fault for getting the wrong one. You know it and I know it.

Buddy said change will set us back...a real franchise QB can make a difference. How did the Colts D look last year?

We are on our way to another losing season.....the constants really need to be evaluated @ seasons end.
I think this was Fitz's make or break yr. His inability to throw deep with ANY consistancy has killed him. Almost EVERY other QB can go deep. If the D knows you cant, defending your routes becomes easy. And while I agree Fitz isnt the guy, our defense is bad on every level. They just cant stop anyone from running. CB's give up WAYYYYY to many completions & the LB corp as a whole is inconsistant.

Not saying we shouldn't but it guarantees ABSOLUTLY NOTHING! Ex: Ryan Leaf,Alex Smith,David Carr,Akili Smith,Jamarcus Russell etc.
    Who said it guarantees anything?

However, NEVER drafting a QB at the top end of the draft guarantees your team will suck for 12 years.

You keep drafting them until you get one that sticks. It's what other teams do, why not the Bills?

Some people just don't understand and would rather point to fans as the real problem. Some just say why bother drafting a QB because us fans are to stupid to be nice to a new young prospect. We just gave a 7th rd backup below average QB that was cut by several teams 3 seasons to get better and he has failed over and over again in big ways but its our fault for not giving him a chance. Some posters will continue to be blind and continue to make excuses for the failed QB even if the excuse is now the fans fault...

Yeah he says every off season he will grab a QB if one falls from the sky for him but the truth is either you reach a little or you will never have a good one. Find one you like and go get him because waiting and hoping he falls to you just doesn't happen. Mallet was given to them over and over again but they didn't take the chance and NE snuck in and now have Brady's replacement they can groom for years and will be ready to steal the show when he gets his chance just like Brady did to Bledsoe.
Either Nix goes for it or he will fail again getting a QB because they don't fall from the sky good GMs reach a little when it comes to QBs, in fact some reach a lot when they know one is too good to pass up just like Washington did.

I don't know about you my man.....but I see an offensive attack that's being hampered by it's QB's inability to stretch the field. Imagine if defenses had to respect our deep ball!?

The truth of the matter is, the selection comes down to your front offices ability to either judge talent, or position themselves to pick the best guy capable of making a difference. It's their job. Gailey & co has passed on a couple of QB's (Mallet, Dalton, Wilson) & they haven't even CONSIDERED trading up to get their hands on any of the guys selected ahead of them.

Let's abandon this notion that rookie QB's can't come in & produce....Matt Ryan, Joey Flacco, Dalton, Luck & no matter what you say about RGIII or Cam's records....Cam broke records as a rookie last year, he had a far superior year in his 1rst year, than Fitz had in his 7th.....put his or RGIII's ability & those numbers on this Bills team & you have the makings of a scary offense my friend.

I agree with you to a certain extent. Ive even said many times that a good QB on Chans offense and we would be bloody dangerous. Not every QB will produce during their first or second seasons though. You have to dedicate atleast 2 or 3 years to a rookie. I dont think fans wait that long. Are you also saying that our last ranked defense is not still bad with a better QB? I dont buy that either. They might not be last ranked but I bet they are still bottom 8.

Now dont get me too wrong here. Im not saying we dont need to go after a QB. We surely do. I just dont see a problem with them building the team a little first to give that rookie a better chance.

Honesly, Who ever The Bills have it wont matter, they will still stink. It's the BILLS. We have talent on D and they are horrible. by the time we get the right coaches, we wont have talent, when we have talent we wont have the right coaches. we all realize we wont win a super bowl with the fitz, so he should go.
