It is one game and he played well, he did not dominate!

    2. Spiller is better than Jackson at this point in their careers.

Couldn't be further from the truth. Jackson remains our best offensive weapon. You truly do not understand the nature of position if you think Spiller is a better option. It isn't about spurts of brilliance. Jackson is more dependable, more consistent, gets the tough yards, is a better blocker, does not have as many negative plays, he can carry a team........Spiller can not!

    3. Ryan Fitzpatrick was decent today, but a bunch of 5 yard passes aren't going to get it done. I wouldn't call Fitz the problem today, but he certainly didn't provide a solution.

Agree somewhat, but the fact is we didn't score a touchdown, we stalled in the red zone, they played a seven man front to stop our rushing game and all he did was throw five yard passes.

    4. Go for it once in a while! I don't know why Chan Gailey always plays it conservative...

I don't feel Chan plays conservatively at all. After coaches the like of Marv and Jauron, Gailey is down right dangerous

    5. It doesn't get any easier. When we looked at the schedule before the season, November and December seemed like gifts to the Bills. A bunch of "should win" games appeared and many felt confident we could limp out of the gates and finish strong. Now, I'm not so sure. The Patriots are obviously one of the best, the Dolphins seem to be on the rise, the Colts have been on fire, and the Seahawks defense is straight scary. The best chances the Bills have to win again this season are against NYJ, STL, and JAX, and I don't even feel very confident against these teams. We could be in for a long winter in Buffalo.

Well guys, on to next week. The Patriots in Foxboro, should be competitive right? Right?
You are correct, the schedule does not get any easier.

There are very few and getting more and more fewer blind homers as yourself that supports that QB that obviously can not throw it past 10 yards accuratly, probaly the worst in the league at it. It is soo bad that you can not only find as many post as you want about, you can find this in many many articles wrote by the journalist. Its a fact my friend

Very optimistic. I like the reasoning behind all 5 but what you didnt throw in there is that Powell isnt as bad as we all thought. Powell was the player of the game in my opinion, pushing the Texans back on multiple occassions. Do we have a future punter/team MVP again? Sad but it might be true.

Hey toolbox, go back and look at the comment I responded to. Also, go and look around at my posting history. I have expressed a fairly consistent and strong desire to replace Fitz. What sickens me is blind haters as yourself and the poster I originally responded to who make ridiculously stupid and sweeping statements about how we have a QB who can't or never throws more than 5 yards. It's just not true. Go back and watch his games and look at the numbers and you will see that Fitz CAN and even DOES throw the ball 10, 15, 20 yards down the field, even if he doesn't do it as much as we would like. It's (contractions deserve an apostrophe) a fact my hater friend.

    Regarding your comments in bold...

    1. Never said he did dominate, I said he played well and thats exactly what he did.

    2. Maybe Jackson is the better overall running back, but he isn't the better offensive weapon. Spiller is our best weapon on offense by far, sure he loses yards on occasion, but his ability to break the long one is incredible. Jackson might get less negative plays but Spiller is the better game changer by far.

    3. Thats not entirely on Fitz, a lot of that is coaching. Maybe if Chan would have run more, it could have opened up more opportunities down field. Once again Fitz didn't help us win, but he wasn't the main reason we lost.

    4. How can you say he isn't conservative? He never went for 2 during the Titans game when we could have tied and sent it to OT had he been successful and against one of the leagues best teams, Chan settles for field goals. We aren't good enough to settle for 3, teams like us need 6.

    1. We lost.
    2. We were out-coached by a larger than usual margin.
    3. Our great Offense decided to flat-line on a rare occasion that the Defense actually played non-embarrassing football.
    4. Coming off a bye, with lots of extra time, the game plan seemed like it was designed by Fisher-Price.
    5. The blindly loyal fans of WNY still have no hope after 13 years of futility. This is a record no one should have to endure, and we deserve better.

Williams really did everything he needed to. He set the edge well, and had a couple of big stops for losses in the run game. Granted, setting the edge didnt' do much, as the rest of hte players around him were either overwhelmed by additional blockers, or didn't play gaps properly. A wrist issue would be a legitimate minor injury to really hamper the play of a defensive lineman. It's a stability issue and affects your entire ability to bullrush, or effectively handcheck anyone.

Personally, I have to see what Mario does over the next 2-4 games. Against the Texans, he was going against a 7th round, 2nd year player. He looked motivated and had his best game this year. However, that 7th round draft pick blocked him without double team assistance.

I give Mario a B+ for this game. However, I'm still looking for game to game consistency. No more 1-2 tackles 0 sack games.
