****, that article almost brought a tear to my eye... almost. Yeah kids dont like losers. I work with kids and whenever they see me wearing my bills shirt they dont hesitate to tell me that they hate the bills. I ask them why, they say its because they suck. Well I cant hold it against them. I was indoctrinated. Heres to hoping.

edit: I thought the ending was rather apt. The article never really had a single unifying thesis, but the end seemed to solidify the major theme: that for Buffalo, football and the city, foot ball and daily life, are somehow linked. To go back to the homeless man and his wild predictions really summarizes everything that was said up to that point.

Wow, that's something I've never thought about. The future of the Bills in Buffalo depends on fans supporting it. All of the fans are old. When they die, they will be replaced by younger fans.

This article mentions that the younger fans aren't fans of the team because the younger kids aren't interested in losers. So when you old people die, if we keep losing, the upcoming youth will be supporting another team.

Cause the Bills be losing, yo!

Generally, people root for who their fathers rooted for.
