I've got to assume you are kidding given your sig but in case you're not, it's "mind boggling".
It is impossible to travel faster than the speed of light, and certainly not desirable, as one's hat keeps blowing off.

I could be wrong, but I think you may be misinterpreting his statement. He's saying that, "That will be their built in excuse for 2012" & not that it's actually the truth

    You can quote me:

New Haven, CT Bills backer (Anna Liffeys)

    Manhattan Bills backer (Mcfaddens)

    Atlanta Bills backer (Tavern 99)

No matter where I'm @....I'm always gonna rep those Bills!!

According to Buddy's direct quotes in the Buffalo News, he is not in love with the 1st round QBs and he isn't ruling out drafting a QB later in the draft. So, what are the odds of finding a "franchise QB" in the 2nd round of the draft?

    2011 Andy Dalton
    2010 Jimmy Clausen
    2009 Pat White
    2008 Brian Brohm, Chad Henne
2007 Kevin Kolb, John Beck, Drew Stanton
    2006 Kellen Clemens, Tarvaris Jackson
2001 Drew Brees, Quincy Carter, Marques Tuiasosopo
    1999 Shaun King
    1998 Charlie Batch
    1997 Jake Plummer
    1996 Tony Banks
    1995 Todd Collins, Kordell Stewart
    1992 Matt Blundin, Tony Sacca

Answer: You have about a 20 to 1 shot of finding an elite QB in the 2nd round.

Haha. Thanks. But given some of the members on here, I don't blame their questioning.

he also said he wasn't planning on firing gailey... is that going to sell tickets too?

Or is Nix feeling the pressure? Are grumblings FINALLY spiraling down from the top that the patience with our current QB situation has reached it's threshold? Is he trying to sell himself to our next potential owner?

I mean....WE know we need another QB, this isn't exactly rocket science...but during the midway point of the season, I don't see other teams discussing their draft needs in the fashion that we suddenly have.

    So....where's the pressure coming from?

I don't remember it in Zoolander. I haven't seen that in years. I have it, so I may have to watch it later.

And re-listening to the quote, I completely butchered it. Haha. With a memory like that you would think I live in Colorado or Washington.
