I had the same thought last night. I think he is the guy getting them fired up.
    EJ Manuel is the answer...

(until he no longer is the answer)

Was great to see Merriman get an increase in snaps last night. Yes, he might not be the the elite player he once was, but you cannot argue this guys intensity and leadership on and off the field!! Was there a little LIGHTS OUT dance last night??? Awesome

All of our DEs abused him at some point last night. I loved it. So much for their Probowl OT.

Yeah, he had a bad game. In truth, first time this season I've really seen Martin play. I think yesterday was a steep learning curve and he'll get better from it. I wouldn't have been mad at getting him if we did but I'm glad we've got Glenn.

The announcers talked about how aweful he's been all year.

I won't write a rookie off completely. Sometimes, they just don't 'get it' straight away. I'll be perfectly happy being wrong in my thoughts on him and see him twice a year as a walking turnstile.

LIGHTS OUT! The guy brings a presence that is undeniable. However, seeing it more so on the field oppose to just in the locker room and on the sideline is a pleasure.

The more guys we have that are able to come off the edge the better.

Shawn Merriman did okay, had those 2 big plays, but I would rather see more of Kyle Moore.

Defense hasn't lost a step with Kelsay out. I like Merriman. I also like that he has been staying healthy. A lot of people said he was gonna get injured again. But he's doing what he needs to do.
Adopt a Bill 2012: Ron Brooks is going to be a beast! Write that ish down!

Can we just cut Kelsay now?
