I have been a season ticket holder for 23 years, and went to ALL the games in the 90's. You are completely wrong. It has been getting steadily worse every year. I liked to drink more in the early 90's than I do now. I never drank to the point that I didn't know what was going on around me or couldn't still watch the game. Now at every game I could point out dozens of young drunk fans that couldn't tell you what the score was at any point in the game. How these people are even admitted to the game baffles me? This has led to more fights and more ejections. It does happen at every stadium, but Buffalo has to be among the league top 3 worst offenders.
The Buffalo Bills, rebuilding since the mid 90's!

This here sucks, I hear people saying the Bills do nothing and everything, but one thing seems reasonable to me in a post 9/11 world. Doesn't practically every public facility have security cameras EVERYWHERE? In fact, the more people a facility holds, the more cameras are mounted. For a league and team that thrive because of a huge TV deal, you would think they could invest in a bunch of close circuit cameras. Front page lead story tonight on the main page is the tag yourself hd panoramic picture. Will cameras eliminate all problems, no, but will they help? I would also think prosecuting idiots would become a little easier with video proof.

Never had anything close to an incident at the Ralph. I take my daughter so if I did, I would probably just put my head down and walk, it's just not worth it, especially with my kids.

But saying that, if someone was super drunk, how do they beat you up that badly?

All the people conflating criticism of the absolute drunken zoo that is the Ralph with criticism of Buffalo/Western NY: Easily half the idiots coming over and starting fights are Canadians. Not the folks who have seasons, mind you, the bus groups. They get on a bus at 8am, start drinking during the bus ride, and by the time the games roll around, can only stand just enough to block 5 rows of viewing in the upper deck. It's not a reflection of Buffalo, it's a reflection of the marketing the team is doing.

My suggestion comes out of Euro soccer: Make one upper deck a party side that sells the cheap seats and group tickets and double the security there, make one of the small clubs an alcohol free family zone along with the Topps corner, and make one upper deck that has a limited alcohol policy.

Both guys attacked are my friends.. They are laid back guys dont start or look for trouble. The 1 guy that just got back from overseas was suppose to be on the field helping hold the big US flag..But a bunch of my buddies surprised him with a ticket to go to the game since it was Veterns apprieation night and he ws granted permission to go by his superior.

They left after 3rd qtr not 1st qtr that report was wrong. They got jumped from behind, did not see it happen there was a girl with them that got pushed out of the way. They were not drunk just enjoying a Bills game with a friend that just came home from serving are country. I hope with this hitting the media that they get some answers. Some one had to see something or there has to be video of it. I hope these classless, scums get what is coming to them

Just like Philly, D.C., Oakland, Boston...

I mean Pats fans threw an old lady wearing a Miami coat down the stairs.

There are a number of NFL cities that need to get on top of this, not just Buffalo.

But with 9 dollar beers people get liquored up outside the stadium and arrive drunk.
    ADOPT A BILL:
Cordy Glenn - let him play left tackle people. Geesh!

My expectations for our new coach are simple.
    1. Have the ability to locate decent stop gap players that are better players than the last ones who were on this roster for far too long.
    2. Win as many games as you can, but when you lose ... get beat, don't follow in the steps of your predecessors who seemed to try and find new and inventive ways to loose winnable games.

That's a well thought out post. I have never heard that comment before, and the barfalo line is priceless. How do u come up with that stuff???!!! Wow classic. You had to go to an Ivy League school.

whoa chick! how long have you been in 131? that was my section for about 10 years. 131, row 29, seat 1 was my seat starting whatever year they changed the benches to seats. only moved out of 131 because of $$

but yeah, totally agree. in 127 now, and i still never see these problems either.

Here's how it happens. A lucky punch knocks the victim out cold. The assailant falls on the victims face. He then tries to get up, starts falling over, right into the victims face. This is repeated until the assailant passes out.

The last real post in the best thread ever. I'm honored. Thank you, AZbacker. It was a good run, Budda.

Jayryp's buddy is still a fine WR.

That veteran is my cousin and other guy is a great friend. We all know that fights may occur... The problem is being attacked by several people from behind for NO reason at all and Ralph has no report? They put the guys in custody but failed to get their names? Didn't arrest them? The medics barely checked the guys out!? Ever hear of head trama? So yes ok fights do break out but when you are brutally attacked and ALL THE SECURITY AND OFFICERS OR WHOEVER come to help and no reports are made!? Really!? I have spoken to a gentleman who use to work there. They are under staffed and a report has to be made.. But yet they are failing to provide. Does this make sense!? Also to the guy who stated they got people up by each other!?... I don't know where you come from but that's a pretty dumb thing to say. We can entertain ourselves without having to hurt each other.
So take a good look at those pictures of the guys. You say this is okay to happen for no reason? Over a SPORT?? what has this world come to.. Stupid stupid people.

I recall reading somewhere that Canadians were 5% of the attendees but 30% of those arrested.
