Nix is talking out of the 2 sides of his mouth, for christs sakes..........one day he says their going to get a QB and throw him into the fire right off the hop, the next day hes going to sit behind our pathetic poor mans excuse for a franchise, noodle arm QB and tutor the kid in the finer points of QB mechanics.

I think Fitz is one of the better QBs pre-snap. Look at the Oline. 2 solid starters, a rookie LT and 2 cast offs and he barely gets sacked. Now he is garbage post snap over 10 yards. He just can't execute consistently....which is maddening.
IMO, fitz is gone at the end of the year. T-Jax will start unless the rookie QB they draft wins the job.
I think they will use some of the $$$ saved by cutting fitz to resign Byrd and Andy

Fitz can read coverege presnap. but its also his call when there are uncovered blitzers on the line..call a hot route, or shift protection...he is awful at that...gets him self sacked because he doesnt see whats obvious

The quoted poster has NEVER watched a single game with Fitz under center. Fitz changes the play constantly.

he really doesnt..he does change from a run to pass more often than the other way. he dosnt make good reads at the line. he makes decent reads of the DBs but other than that he is average or below in every catorgory there is

Yeah, i think it was Nix who said the young QB who would sit and Chan said he wanted to start him right away.
