    1. our HC standing on the sidelines with no emotion and that scraggily beard making him looking like somebody's grandpa who should be playing slots at a casino

    2. a short passing game that might be fine in college against different skill level defenders but just won't fly against NFL quality LB's and DB's. Every D-corordinator in the league knows our game.

    3. Spiller on the sidelines especially on 3rd and short yardage

    4. Fitz explainging everything on the sidelines to his buddy Thigpen. You don't see him talking to receivers or lineman about what's going on in the game like individual match-ups, strengths, weaknesses - -

Fitz is either alone on the bench or talking with Tyler. What's that about???? Chan's appearance speaks volumes about the francise!

    1. Right on. Heartless coach breads heartless players.
    2. Our Qb limits us. If we didn’t have a short yardage passing game we wouldn’t have a passing game at all.
    3. Right on, but I would add to this, empty backfield set on 3rd and short.
    4. I loved Fritz's heart over the previous seasons. He has lost that, which was his only redeeming quality.

I can't imagine why Chan doesn't get fired up unless he just wants to retire in peace. The team tries to get fired up despite his demeanor.

I just posted this in the other thread, why does Chan never get in the refs faces or show emotion.

As I mentioned in a previous post Chan shows no emotion, encouragement, excitement and the players feed off of that. He seems like a funeral director out there. Nice and serene. Fitz looks like his understudy. He should be talking to Tavares rather than Thigpen

It is odd Stevie or Spiller or Wood or Chandler stay away from him -or- he stays away from them in a game. Is that because once Chan calls the play there's no use discussing strategy from guys actually playing the game?

It's almost as if he can't believe things aren't working out for the team as a whole and he's just concerned about his elaborate play calling.

Gailey pulls off the unemployed slot jockey look really well.

"What matters is two years and three years down the road, if we have this thing turned around in the right direction and we're winning," Nix said. "I know before I'm asked this, you're going to think I'm crazy, but we're not that far away."

“Russ and I scanned a list of possible candidates,” Wilson said. “We didn’t know them. I didn’t know them. I don’t think Russ did. We narrowed it down to two candidates for the job of general manager of football, two in-house candidates.”
