Matt Barkley's stock is dropping.

This seems to happen every few years. A legitimate franchise QB sees his stock drop for whatever reason and he slides down the 1st. Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers. It's becoming a very real possibility that the best QB in the class could be on the board when we're on the clock. Geno Smith has the hype, Tyler Wilson has the tools, but Barkley has talent. Very high character also fits the Nix/Gailey model that we've seen with our selections the last few years. Gonna be hard to wait 'til April to see how this plays out.

Disagree. Safer than Wilson or Smith in my opinion. Not totally sold on Manuel either. Barkley is really the only QB I have confidence in with this class.

Bradford played a total of 6 quarters. It wasn't a case of his play suffering. Not at all the same.

No one's stock drops right now. We dont even know where any of these players are really ranked yet. We wont get a clear idea until the senior bowl when scouts start talking to media.

Barkley has been awful for a majority of the year. It's pathetic too considering he is throwing to the best set of WR's in the country. I don't understand how people can watch Barkley continually throw away games and think he is such a great prospect. Typical USC QB hype. I would definitely take Geno, Wilson, and Glennon over him.

.....I have a weird feeling that we won't pass on him if he drops to the 8-10 pick area which is where we end up every year.....I still think he could put up Palmer like numbers rather than Sanchez, Leinart, Cassel type numbers.....the problem is all the qb's this year are worlds away from RG or Luck.....you just have to pluck out the diamond in the rough....
