    Default Josh McDaniels

    Buffalo Bills

    FREE iPad Download

Led the 2007 record breaking New England offense
His 2012 offense is about to break that record

He was screwed in Denver having Kyle Orton and Tebow as his QBs. Offense was still good during the 8-8 season with Orton.
Would bring young fire into the organization.
When will the Bills find the heir to Losman?

He wasn't screwed in Denver, he destroyed Denver and their roster.

You guys have the worst ideas, and this is one of them.
    4-15-BUF 34

(4:46) (Shotgun) 14-A.Dalton pass deep middle to 11-D.Sanzenbacher to BUF 11 for 23 yards (35-J.Leonhard). Caught in coverage at BUF 15.

How did he destroy Denver? They were 8-8 the year before he got there.

Wouldn't mind him as HC, as long as we have a good GM making the personnel decisions.

Traded away Cutler for Kyle Orton.

Traded away Tony Scheffler to the Lions.

Feuded with both of those players.

    Traded away Brandon Marshall.

Traded away Peyton Hillis to the Browns for Brady Quinn.

Sold their draft to grab Tebow in the late first.

Then proceded to lose continuously until he was fired. Add on top of that a videotaping scandal. He's trash.

Perfectly stated. The guy was a disaster and alienated pretty much everyone in Denver's organization. A big NO to Josh McDaniels.
I raised my kids as Bills fans, should social services be talking to me about that ? Is that a form of child abuse ?

Could not agree more. McDaniels was an absolute tire fire as a head coach. The way he managed that team, you would think a division rival was signing his pay checks.

You might have been right about being "stuck" with Orton and Teblow, if it wasn't by his own design. You'll remember that he actually inherited Jay Cutler, refused to speak with him, then traded him. Then he had Denver trade way too much to Baltimore in order to move back into the first round to get Teblow.

He sucks as a head coach. Though he did beat Darth Hoodie his first year in Denver.

Denver gave McDaniels too much power, and they paid for it.

    You're making a key mistake:

You're assessing his ability as a coach by looking at his front office moves.....not exactly apples to apples.

McDaniels probably still needs more time as a coordinator...but I think the guy will be a very good head coach someday.

I don't like McDaniels...but if the choice was him or Gailey? Absolutely I'd take him. Hopefully we get someone better though.

    This isn't really what happened.

Cutler threw a **** fit when Shanahan got the boot. He demanded a trade, and his wish was accommodated.

And not for nothing but the picks Cutler brought back eventually ended up landed Denver Robert Ayers, Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker...(and others I just dont feel like going all the way through the crazy line...as an aside, take a look at the players involved with this line of picks. Hysterical)

Personally, I'd rather have Decker+Thomas than Cutler.

When he has too much power, he makes some stupid decisions. I think he'd probably be OK as an OC, though as has been stated, Tom Brady can make almost any OC look good. As a head coach he has a track record of poor judgment and pettiness.
