You still cannot deny his size and arm, he seems to be a natural leader on the field as well.

I look at his lack of mobility quite like Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Phillip Rivers and Tom Brady... Those guys are pretty much all non mobile pocket passers in this league and I would say each of them are in the elite category. If we get the next big thing as a pocket passer I am all for it. Glennon has been my choice since college football started this season and I've been yapping about him for some time now. LOL

I was about to write the same thing. Man his line stinks....and some of those passes were drops. Look I don't expect the kidd to go 30 for 30 every game. But, he has some skill, he plays in a pro style offense, he seems very poise in the pocket, has a cannon, can take punishment and not let it effect his game, played against good competition. He's not luck, but he's better then anything we have right now. Lol

He's kinda under the radar, being that he's from NC State but like Sal and Jeremy said, you have to connect the dots. CJ Spiller...
Chris Hairston. They loved Tebow im 2010, but snag David Nelson, tebow's wr. They draft TJ Graham....and probably feel in love with the QB throwing him the ball. If so, man....im almost sold on Glennon.

Not me, he's a stiff just like his brother Sean. He's terrible. Better off with Zac Dysert from Miami Ohio.

To be fair to Losman, he played at Tulane. Isn't Mewelde Moore his only teammate who did anything in the NFL? Of course, Moore also did more (good) in the NFL than Losman ever did.

In any case, I'm just chiming in to say that this is a good thread. I don't watch college ball, so I'm woefully uninformed as to who is coming out this year. We definitely need to get some one and throw him under center, regardless of whatever else happens.
Marrone and Manuel. Let us hope M&M are the long-awaited heralds of a new era.

Buddy Nix: Chan, you're not seeing the big picture here. I'm looking out for you as well here. You can't continue with Fitzpatrick, I'm sorry, ya' just can't. Ralph's gonna' get on me, but more importantly, how are we gonna' sell tickets if we got a quarterback who can't even get the ball to his receivers?
Chan Gailey: Now you listen up Buddy, just because we're friends doesn't mean I won't give you a piece of my mind. You be careful when you talk about Ryan that way. He's done a lot for this team, and he doesn't get any respect.
Buddy Nix: That's because he sucks! How much more film do you need to watch? The guy can't throw screen passes for Christ's sake! I'm just sayin', I had a long talk with Tyler, and I think we can make it work with him in Buffalo. He's a good kid, he's smart, and I think he'll adapt well.
Chan Gailey: Yeah, well, I just don't see it. You wanna' waste a pick on a quarterback, you be my guest, but I'm tellin' ya', we already got ourselves a QB. You draft Wilson, I'm just gonna' bench him. I'll activate Thigpen for all the games and make Wilson the practice squad quarterback, how do you like that?
Buddy Nix: Chan, you don't get it. This is it for us. If we don't start showing progress this season, we're ALL gone. You wanna' hitch your wagon to Fitzpatrick, that's fine, I admire your loyalty, but we can't have another six win season, and you know that. I TOLD you that in December. Fitzpatrick's not getting any better, and he's not getting any younger. If I don't bring in a quarterback, we might as well pack our bags. I can tell you right now Ralph won't want us back next year.
Chan Gailey: Yeah, well, I told the old man that football is a tough game for tough people when I first got here. What more does he want from me?
Omg! This is too funny! Lmao

I tend to rely on highlight reels since I don't watch college football, but you have to remember that everyone looks good in a highlight reel. I look for QB's that scramble well only when they have to and they can lay out a deep pass right in the receiver's hands without making him reach or slow down. Bledsoe had a great deep pass, but he got sacked so much that it hurt the team. The other thing that I want in a QB is a high wonderlic score or some other indicaton that he is a quick study. You need to really be able to think quickly as an NFL QB. So much of the game is in the QB's head and hands.

Let's say we finish 8-8. Would Landry Jones still be there? What about Tyler Wilson? Heck, let's grab another QB in the middle rounds just in case. We'll go with 2 rookies and TJax.

I know Chan keeps deffending Fitz in public, but just suppose he was thinking that if Fitz doesn't really light it up in these last 5 games that he'll have to get a new QB ASAP. Do you think he'd be less supportive in public? I think some coaches would be even if they did it unintentionally. I don't see Chan doing that, though.

Aaron Murray will be the best qb in this draft. Proven winner, leadership, experience, athletic.
    Very likely.
