I've been reading how a lot of "experts" think he will be the next big time HC, he has paid his dues and has done very well as an offensive coordinator for Cinncinati and his grooming of Andy Dalton.

He was offered the HC job for the Vols with part ownership of the Browns thrown in. I doubt Buffalo could match that offer.

I like Jay because of what he did at Cincy with a QB like Dalton. He works really well with young players. If we got a QB in the first 2 rounds of the draft, he could do a good job here....
Adopt a Bill '08 - Scott Mayle
He's young, smart, has a lot of energy, runs a sophisticated offense and has the contacts to surround himself with good coaches. I really like him.
It doesn't take a while for HC's to turn things around in the NFL anymore. Hire the right guy and you can become a playoff team in Year 1.
Jay Gruden is at the tip top of my list of candidates. I have been banging that drum since the Bengals vs. Skins game. He could turn this ship around immediately.
He's overrated....big time

I feel that he's overrated but he can't be worse than what we have.
It sure would have been nice if he was here but OBD cant get it done.
A new era of hope begins. Go Bills
Pat Fitzgerald, David Shaw or Bill O'Brian from the college ranks, Mike Zimmer, Bruce Arians from the pros

Would you come to Buffalo if you were an "up and comer"?
Seems like a good way to ruin your career at this present time.
I honestly don't see where any of this speculation that we're getting a new coach any time soon is going. It's counterproductive. We all know Buddy is not going to fire his friend. Like it or not, be prepared to float or sink with Chan Gailey, he's here for the long run folks.
Not happening.
The good ol’ boys of the South, Nix and Gailey, aren’t going anywhere. They just havn’t been “lucky” get.![]()
I hate how anybody acts like they KNOW what the hell is going to happen next year... Idc what buddy is telling you sheep right now, Nobody is firing their head coaches right now, why on earth would he come out and say "Chan's toast without the playoffs"? If Chan is below 7-9, we'll have a new head coach... Or we will only be watching road games next year...
Yes. Let's bring in another guy with no HC experience.
At this point, I'd take David Shaw from Stanford.
At least he knows how to hand the firkin ball off
Do you like Phil Collins?
