Is it worth 100m for an individual player? No

Is it worth 100m if that individual player makes everyone around him look better when he is healthy and on his game? Yes.

It took time for unit to gel, and Mario had to fix his wrist, but he clearly changed this defense.

Wow! It gets somewhat annoying constantly hearing as if the Bills handed Williams 100 million in cash after he signed.

    http://www.kffl.com/gnews.php?id=775...ntract-details

Will he see 100 million when it's all said and done?...Doubtful...so let's not act as if the Bills were on the hook for 96 mil as soon as the ink dried.

    I love it.

It's such a relief seeing him play the way he has been recently.

Yes. He is not worth 100 mill. You guys wait till the guy shows up one freaking game and makes a couple plays and thinks it wipes out a ****ty season, it doesn't

You should read what you write. Do you actually think he's having a ****ty season?

He is finally starting to look like the guy we were all expecting to see when he was signed. If he keeps it up I don't mind paying him the money that it took to bring him here. Unfortunatly for a team like buffalo that isn't a huge FA draw, especially with the playoff drought, that's what it takes to bring in the former first overall draft pick, top defensive FA of the year. If the bills can manage to turn the franchise around and start winning consistantly, maybe win a superbowl, they will be able to start bringing in FA's without overpaying them like we need to now. Until then, we as fans need to deal with the fact that we will be over paying FAs.

Our defense has really turned it on. Can't wait till we get healthy at corner again.

The heat is squarely on Fitz now, no two bones about it.

hahaha...I don't think I have ever heard more references to "100 million" my life! I certainly don't have 100 million, most likely...neither do you, and Mario Williams DOES NOT have 100 million.

Again...it is a CONTRACT over SEVERAL years. Google it.....geesh. When he signed there wasn't a stack of 100 million cash sitting next to him.

Alot of new parts on this defense and switching scheme. I also think Merriman has been a good add to this team. His intensity is great to watch and I think it rubs off on Mario and Dareus.

I was wrong about Mario Williams. His wrist injury getting fixed really seems to have proven itself to be the factor keeping him from playing the way I expected him to play, so I take back all the mean crap I said about him.

I was right there with you man. People give up on players too quickly. Unfortunately with the ADD generation, it's "what have you done for me lately". Instead, the way it should have been viewed is, well its only been 5 or 6 games, but his entire body of work dictates that this is the aberration rather than the rule. The guy was out for most of the season last year, came to a new system, new coaches, new city and everyone thought he should be superman. Sorry guy, now you're seeing the fruits of our pick up. He's a beast and will be for years to come.

    Go Bills!!!
Marcel, Kyle Williams, and Mario Williams in for the sack. Its a ham sandwich!!!!
