Absoltuely no way Buffalo will sing another Qb with the contract Fitz currently has. If Buffalo parts ways with Fitz the numbers they owe the guy will still be on the books. Their chance to cut ties with Fitz for next to peanuts came and went. Thus, forget Alex Smith, Rivers, Vick, etc..

Furthermore, other than Brees, I can not think of the last FA QB to swtich teams and go on to win a SB.

Aside from that, Buffalo should seriously target a WR or a SS in FA. I do not know what the market offers in those positions but I would even be willing to give up a few picks to get a stud playmaker at the WR position.

PLEAE STOP TALKING ABOUT ARM STRENGTH AROUND HERE. Tom Brady does not have the strongest arm and the guy plays in similar climates as Buffalo.

Don't have the numbers in front of me, but I believe his bonus kicks in after this season, so we could still part ways with him with little cap damage done. Of course, we won't, but we could...

Of that list I'd keep Choice, McIntyre, Jones, Nelson, Brown, Levitre, Urbik, Rinehart, Moore, Byrd and McKelvin. I'd let Jackson, Thigpen, Douglas, Martin, Dickerson, Johnson, Merriman and Scott walk. I'd cut McGee, Kelsay, Smith outright.

The Bills are 7.4 million under the cap now.
We gain 5 million we were still paying Maybin, and I feel Kelsay is gone, which is another 3.75 million.
Merriman is not signed for next year. I think they should resign him, which could cost up to 5 million (4 million this year)
We gain 2.4 million that we don't have tagged to Evans.
Moorman gone is 1.4 million
I say drop McIntyre, for another .9 million

As of right now, with no FA's resigned, we're at 66.7 Million towards next year
The 2013 Cap is projected to remain about the same as this year, just over 120 million.

I think we're looking pretty good, actually

WR: Greg jennings is the best fit in this timing offense and can play slot or "Z". I 'd draft Keenan Allen in the 1st.
LB: Daryl Smith worth a shot to see if he can comeback from injury. Vet playmaking OLB.
CB: Re-sign McKelvin gives time to see how youngsters develop
S: Re-sign Byrd I like the rotation with Searcy & Wilson. Aaron Williams may end up here as a FS and I'd like t idea.
C (backup): Urbik
RT: Don't need one

HB/TE (playmaker/thumper): Delanie Walker he can be a tumper as a run blocker, athletic enough to keep LB'ers honest in the passing game as a check down. This will help open up the middle for Jennings,Stevie, Chandler, Nelson in the passing game. This will also keep LB at a decent depth for a straight ahead running attack by CJ & Freddie.
