I'm not one to put too much stock in long term trends, because coaches and players come and go. Given the extremely physical style of defense SF puts on the field, and their power run game, could this stat be due to the Rams being physically drained from the playing SF the week prior, or is it just pure coincidence?

I know there are variables that factor in, like "Did the Rams lose players to injury VS SF?", or "How tough is the following opponent?". I don't have the time or resources to check, but if the Bills losing 15 in a row to the *Pats is a credible "trend", then this shouldn't be considered much different, even though there are different circumstances.

Does this make you any more confident about Sunday's game?

Somehow, the main point of this thread was deleted from the OP...ooops.

The stat is that the Rams have lost the game after playing the 49ers 10 straight times (over 5 years).

I would have just edited my post, but the new format doesn't let me from my phone.

Well, thats certainly interesting. Not sure if it shows anything truly measurable, since there are too many changing variables over 10 years time (especially with the rams).

Weird stat. Doesn't change the way I approach the game. I think they win, but that didn't go into my train of thought

If ever you wanted to put an end to streak like that one, the best way to do so is to play the Bills.

Before the injuries to the Oline piled up, I would have thought that the Bills could win this game. Now, post-injuries to the starting Center and the Starting RT (and 2nd string RT), and having to use practice squad level players, I just cant see it.

The Rams strength is their defensive line, I dont see how that match-up alone (Bills patchwork O-line vs. Rams D-line) doesnt shift the game into the Rams favor. Even on the road, in projected inclement weather.

So you are that guy! lol What's wrong... the post too tistillating for you?.

He's probably typing too fast. I had three posts on the boards today completely wiped out in full by an errant keyboard hit not to mention additional terrible grammar left by that same mistake.

Ahhhhhhh, the thread police. Are all 51 of your posts since 2005 the same, correcting others?

    I can play too!

First, (<<<notice the COMMA) you should consider reading past the thread title, and comment on the topic at hand. That IS why you come to this forum, RIGHT? Again, notice the COMMAS...

Seriously, people like you kill me. The fact that I tested higher than 94% of the nation in reading and vocabulary as a kid does not factor into whether or not I pressed a button hard enough on my 3 inch keyboard. I especially like the guy that calls out others for using (I quote) "bad GRAMMER".

    I got 1 for you...

Bills haven’t covered both ends of back-to-back games at home since 2007!

which means 1 of these stats is gonna lose

    Pretty simple.

They get up for an important divisional game, then can't match the intensity the following week against a non-divisional opponent.
    4-15-BUF 34

(4:46) (Shotgun) 14-A.Dalton pass deep middle to 11-D.Sanzenbacher to BUF 11 for 23 yards (35-J.Leonhard). Caught in coverage at BUF 15.

Arent the Bills favored by 3? (Thats what I saw here)

So if they win by 1 or 2, both do happen.

Wow, didn't know that stat either. We used to dominate at home. Even when were just so-so.

    Here's my favorite stat...

When Ryan Fitzpatrick has fewer than 30 pass attempts in a game in his career with the Bills, Buffalo is an impressive 15-7. When Fitz attempts 30 passes or more in a game Buffalo is 5-22.
