It's us, not OBD....
After wasting another four hours watching the Bills blow it exactly as I predicted (to my wife mid way through the 4th quarter), I finally realized that it isn't their fault at all. It's ours. I watched in horror as all of the Bills players HAPPILY shook the hands of the Rams staff and players right after they lost another so called heart breaker. These guys acted like they just arrived at a family reunion and couldn't wait to chum it up w/ old friends and family. They didn't care at all that they just blew another game in the last minuet. They didn't care that their playoff hopes were probably officially dead. They didn't care that their fans, who spent too much money to watch their rich aszes, were freezing in crappy weather just to support them AGAIN and AGAIN they blew a very winnable game in the last seconds.
I finally realized that I have wasted a tremendous amount of time and too much money on an oraganization that can't produce anything more than losers (with the exception of one FLUKE period in history). These guys just don't care if they win or lose. Many here have been calling for a coaching change again and I have been on the fence because of continuity reasons, but I'm fully on board w/ a whole new coaching staff.
Then I realized that all this is our own fault. We fill the seats and by their shi* every week no matter what. Leave that stadium EMPTY two weeks straight and then we'll see what OBD is made of. It's telling when someone like Russ Brandon has as much power as he does. I wonder if we don't get a real staff because he knows that real football men will realize that he's just a douche??? Anyway, nothing is going to be any different unless we just boycott the whole deal for a week or two. I wish we could convince each other that the loss a games worth of ticket money is a small amount compared to several more years of this crud.
What's the saying? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me (not G.W. Bush's version LOL). Well what about fool me 13 years worth of being fooled. Shame on us is an understatement at this point. I wonder if the rest of the football world sits back and laughs at us until they cry?
