Just goes to show how much Nix knows about QBs when every week a new young talent plays big.
Draft a dam QB already.

A new era of hope begins. Go Bills
since Nix took over we've passed on: (2010) No qb's worth taking after Bradford....we waste a 7th on Brown....(2011) we had opportunities to get Dalton, Kaepernick or Mallett.....(2012) we pass on Wilson, Foles & Cousins (not a fan of Weeden or Osweiler )....so that's 6 viable young qb's that would've been better than the Harvard Wobbleball.....while Nix & Gailey continue to show blind faith in Fitzjoketrick, every year they waste time.....

Is he? I mean, what weapons do the Jets actually have? I honestly don't know if Sanchez is worse, or better than, Fitz. But I tell you what, I'm willing to bring him in and let him compete for a job as opposed to just hand the starting position off to Fitz again.

I believe I remember an article from April where Buddy admitted there were 2 qbs he wanted, but that went before he could draft them. I personally think Cousins was 1 of the 2.
Like other people stated, I dont see Washington trading him. But if they did, I would personally be intrigued. He was the "late" round guy I really liked.
I also wouldnt be opposed to do a creative deal, where maybe we swap 1st or 2nd rounders, and not really give up too many picks. That way we could get a younger guy, and still draft a couple LB's, DB's and/or WR's. So maybe swap firsts and through in a 4th or 5th as a sweetener.
Just thinking outside the box a little.

We had a chance to Draft him (and several other QBs) in the 3rd round and passed. The ship has sailed.

yea, but you cannot EXPECT Nix to get these guys in the draft, 30 other NFL teams also did not think those guys were worth it or they would have been drafted earlier.
If any of the 32 GMs thought that Tom Brady was going to be a HOF qb he would have went #1 overall..not at the end of the draft..same with all the other guys.
The fault with Nix should lie with not ATTEMPTING to bring in another QB.(which is also debatable as he brought in Vince Young and Tavarus Jackson)
Another possibility is that Gailey told Nix that he can with with the QB he has got..in which case, Nix felt no need to draft a QB.
Nix is not to blame for the QB situation..now the coaching situation is all on Nix..hes gotta make that change.
I think the Bills would have taken Cousins as well. But..Washington took him just before us. Of course I thought we were going to take Russell Wilson too. If I remember they had both in for a visit. That being said the talent scout/coaching staff blew it on Wilson. He was there and we passed on by. If they couldn't see the difference in talent we are in sad shape again for the draft. I have given up on the Bills drafting a quality QB. They are fixated on Fitz or anybody else they can get for a plug nickel.
