I feel for dareus. I still think he has potential. In the real world he'd be in the same situation no matter the trade. I know a bunch of athletes w similar stories or worse. I remember Warrick Dunn and a whole bunch where they went through and have gone through tragic situations. Heck check some of the same folks who get crucified like Chan gailey and others personal life. So everyone has something. Some seem a little
More than others. "But the reason you are the way you are is the reason, NOT an excuse to stay that way." There are countless stories over history in all sports of all sorts of athletes who have been through it all. Even non-athletes.
But again that then leads me then to believe then bills front office didn't make a good choice? Or they believed in his potential. Now leaders can help maximize UR potential but ability is the individuals responsibility.
Now a lot of football is mental. I'd say 90%. If so as a leader why would u get a guy who's mind will be challenged extremely?
So it has a lot of sides to it. While I feel for him. He still has to produce and he still has to live his life and what greater motivation to become a great player than what you have been through.
So at the end of the day... he still hasn't performed well regardless of his situation. Trust me there are numerous stories many make it to NFL some don't but plenty of stories. He's not the only one.
