Last draft, I was hoping to nab Russel Wilson. Thanks for nothing management.

this year, i don't have a grasp on any of the college QBs, but my question is this:

Are there any current QBs available? (don't make a mockery of this and tell me Tebow)

    1) Matt Flynn?
    2) Alex Smith?
    3) John Skelton?
    4) Mark Sanchez?

this is about as depressing of a list as i've ever seen but are those the options of current NFL QBs?

vick will be available...depending on the next 2 games Flacco may be available as well.

Tebow is probably a better option at QB than either Skelton or Sanchez..who are probably looking at #3 jobs.

others who may end up being available..

Fitzpatrick(as bad as it looks he will probably be a top 5 QB on the market this offseason)
    Carson Plamer
    Matt Cassel
    Kevin Kolb

Unfortunately, none of these guys really will be much of an upgrade over Fitzpatrick..

Flacco..if we can get him, we need to do it..he is a sure fire upgrade even if it costs us our #1 pick I would do it.
Smith.. one who could be an upgrade..but also a bust..he wont be cut so we would have to trade for him..not sure its worth it.
Vick.. if we sign him, I would also use our first round pick on a QB..and have a pre-season battle hoping the rookie wins. Vick wont last a whole season anyway..so this is a band aid solution.
    Flynn.. same as Smith.

Thats about it. 1 guy(who probably wont be available) is an upgrade..2 low upside risks, and a band aid.

I'd go all out for Flacco right now...call him, tell him we have a huge contract waiting for him and take the penalty from the NFL.

I'm pretty confident the three could be had via trade:

    Phillip Rivers
    Alex Smith
    Ben Roethlisberger

I'd rather go college but maybe they'll do both? We need 2 QBs somehow.

When it comes to college QBs, I'm a Murray fan.

I don't think the Steelers will trade Big Ben. Anyways would love to have him, but I doubt they trade him. I see Vick going to the Jets so I'll take him off the market, Rivers might be worth the risk. But he is probably not worth trading significant picks for. I like Alex Smith, but I hope we don't get the Alex Smith before Harbaugh

why would they trade big ben? they have absolutely nothing behind him that can hold down the fort. if they do that, they can scrap the whole team and start over with young guys, expecially with the defense being old.

i'd be surprised if rivers is on the move, but maybe the chargers will just rebuild.

I hope we go Mike Glennon our Top 4-6 pick, take another QB later in the draft like Utah State's Brad Sorenson then sign Drew Stanton to back him up.

Vick, Rivers, Alex Smith, and Matt Flynn are the only real viable trade options for QB you are going to see in the offseason.

No thanks to FA qbs this season. Vick is statistically the same as Fitz (worse in many categories including accuracy) Smith isn't much better. Maybe as a bandaid, but id prefer not. Flynn couldn't beat a third round rookie. Not much more to say there. Id rather we draft a guy.

I'd be totally fine with drafting Glennon or Geno, but I still kinda want Ryan Nassib out of Syracuse. He's not getting much pub right now but facing WVU's porous defense on Saturday in the Pinstripe Bowl, the Senior Bowl in a month, & then the combine could have him appearing on everybody's 1st round radar. I do think he'd be better suited sitting for a year, but if we can get Levitre locked up, keep that OL healthy next year, & bring in a Greg Jennings-like veteran WR+draft a big outside receiving threat, I think any of those guys could have pretty good success for us as rookies.
I have no control over this charisma...

Alex Smith and HC Greg Roman would be a very good combination and upgrade over Fitz-Galey.

The Bills need a good QB and a coach that can maximize the QB's ability.

ok, few things...tebow would not be an upgrade of Sanchez. Sanchez is not a bad QB he is just on a poorly run and organized team. The Jets have killed him. Also Fitz will not be a top 5 QB prospect, he will have a hard time cracking anyones 53 man roster based on his past. However if he does and he probably will make a team, he will be fighting for a #2 spot at best

Alex Smith is awful. Trade for Rivers or Tebow. I think
    Tebow will be cheap
Or we can sign him. We gotta sell tickets next year and Tebow coming in will sell tickets. He wins games people

You say don't make a mockery by saying Tebow and then you proceed to have Sanchez in the OP?
