Byrd, Mario, and Spiller were all deserving. Disappointing.

For the record here are the stats of the three safeties that were selected over Byrd

    Ed Reed:
    58 Tackles
    4 INT
    0 Forced Fumbles
    0 Sacks

    Eric Berry:
    80 Tackles
    1 INT
    0 Forced Fumbles
    0 Sacks

    LaRon Landry:
    95 Tackles
    2 INT
    4 Forced Fumbles
    0 Sacks

    Jairus Byrd:
    71 Tackles
    5 INT
    4 Forced Fumbles
    0 Sacks

Ed Reed was the FS voted for and Byrd is clearly the better option there.
LaRon Landry had a good season and should be in and is in at SS. But Byrd is also better then Berry as well...probowl "voting" is a joke

Pro Bowls are popularity contests. They mean nothing.

I would actually be ashamed of having pro-bowler out in Hawaii.

But like grundy208 said, "that's the price you pay for a bad team."
The best man to ever lead this franchise, especially when adversity was not common in the league at the time. Ralph, firing this guy was the biggest mistake of your life and you will go down in history with too many fans knowing that! Kudos Mr. Bill Polian, at least you won your championship; I'm happy for you!

Who friggin cares? All-Pro lists and HOFers are really the only legit clubs to join. The fact that Byrd didn't get in is completely laughable. CJ is slightly more understandable, but even with that... I'm sorry, but has anyone actually looked at Arian Foster's YPA? He's averaging exactly 4.0 yards per rush. Now, what that means is that for every 20 yards Foster is getting, CJ is getting 32.5... so if Foster runs the ball 8 times, he still wouldn't have as many yards rushing as CJ gets after 5 carries. The fact that they came out admitted that team success determines pro bowlers is a joke. If a player is deserving, he's deserving on any team.

Quick question, anybody have an answer for why the strong safety category gets two slots into the Pro Bowl while free safety gets only one? Seems kinda lopsided and unfair to the FS position if you ask me.

Leodis deserved it too, but that's what happens when you don't win. You don't get the exposure that players on winning teams get so you don't get the credits.

Too bad that doesn't show pass breakups. Good information, though. I think all of those 4 guys (Byrd, McKelvin, Williams, Spiller) deserved it. CJ would have been my 1st pick too. I'm glad Peyton beat out Brady as well.
