Here's a report that says 5 year $37.5M. But it's a dated article from 2010... Rotoworld (6 year $39.3M) tends to have the most up to date info.

I remember the reporting at the time and it was generally thought to be 5 years.

Perhaps its one of those situations where there is a '6th' year, but the terms are so onerous (i.e. expensive) that no one thinks it will ever be seen.

Keep in mind, tho, that there may very well be 'easy' to attain milestones allowing him to void contract years and hit FA. This is usually where confusion arises in talking about multi-year contracts.
