Haha nice quote, but I hate the idea. I seem to remember the Bills trading for a guy from Jacksonville after a few promising starts. That didn't work out too well for them. Kolb is another example of this strategy backfiring.
    1. WR Tavon Austin (unless Ansah falls)
    2. QB EJ Manuel
    3. WR Da'Rick Rodgers
    4. CB Mathieu
    5. OLB Devin Taylor or Brandon Jenkins
    6. TE Chris Cragg

So do I, he is the George Costanza of potential QBs.

Besides, this city would eat him alive.

Now that Russ Brandon is given full control he will want the Big name to sell jersey's and tickets, I totally see Matt Barkley being the pick here at 8 along with a big name coach like Lovie Smith or Andy Reid. I would not be opposed to Matt Barkley if we had a solid QB coach, I believe he would be ready to start right away.

If it wasn't for Mark Sanchez and his amazing butt-fumble related abilities, Barkley wouldn't scare me so much

Those are the guys I want. I'd be fine with any one of them.

Give me Wilson. He's my guy this year. Then swing for Cord Patterson or Terrance Williams in the 2nd.

I think you take a QB in the 2nd like Boyd, Dysert, Nassib, and Landry Jones. First round you have to take BPA

If you look at Buddys drafts, you're right. Every year he has gone BPA first round regardless of potential need, then fills the holes in the 2nd and 3rd.

Glennon, Wilson, Barkley, Nassib, Bray, Murray. Manuel, Jones.

I still like Landry Jones. More TDs than any college qb active.

Also I would avoid Bray like the black plague. I doubt he gets drafted.

Yeah I think that's the best method for tackling the draft this year. No point in overdrafting a QB this year, I think there are alot of good QBs still available in the 2nd

Glenn was a freaking home run! Franchise LT in the 2nd? Nice work!

I trust Buddy to make the right pick, imagine if we had overdrafted for Gabbert. I think you just don't force yourself into getting a QB in the first. I am not sure if we pick a qb up in free agency then draft 1 or do we send our QB this year to play right away
