Default Ok Russ, now prove it -- Gruden, Cowher, Dungy, Billick, Kelly, Lovie or bust.

Ok, today was fun and all.

But the bottom line is that if the Bills don't land one of these top guys today's press conference was just another pile of BS.

Russ told WGR he is good friends with Jon Gruden. So why isn't he at Jon's house instead of interviewing 3rd tier candidates in Arizona?

You want us to Billieve? It's time to prove we can do better than someone like Wissenhunt.

    H3!! Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!! prove it Russ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    tired of hearing BS!!!!!

he cant talk how he did today and come home with one of AZ's coaches
Leave it to Chan Gailey to keep one of the leagues most dynamic game-breakers in Spiller tamed. The difference between the two backs is night and day, but so much for "getting the ball in Spiller's hands more" Theres no question that Spiller would rival the numbers of Arian Foster and Adrian Peterson if given a full scale of work. As it stands now, Spiller is stuck as a RB2 option in a timeshare role

Wont edit until Bills make playoffs

Lot of names I wouldn't want on there. I'd rather Brandon prove it based on my expectations.
When the Bills hired Jauron and Gailey, the team's misfortunes were 100% predictable. At least Marrone has a chance to succeed.

Doesn't matter if you agree with my list -- replace Billick with another top guy you like. My point is still valid. It's time to prove they can get it done and not settle for the bottom of the barrel.

And who does Brandon answer to now?? It's his team. Just wait for the announcement that Toronto will be getting 2 games. I will bet on it.

Me too, since in the new lease it states they can only have one game.

Holmgren's a great QB groomer for sure, at least as a head coach.

I'd rather the Bills look in the College ranks to find their next coach, hopefully one that will make it past the 5 year mark. I'd be happy if they decided to go with Kelly and and got him. On the flip side, Lovie Smith can work with wonders if could manage to get the right OC to work with him here. I just figure if we are gonna fail as much as we do, at least give a no name College coach a chance at failing too, with the caveat, that if they manage to pull it off, they get the key to the city for life...

gentlemen, it will be a little bit before we hear anything of the coaching situation. I trust russ and co. will be doing this systematically. people are going to AZ, so what? wait a week, or 2.

    .

I couldn't disagree more. They have to know who their top candidate is. So go there and get him. There is no time for messing around. It's time to finally get the job done.

And if their top choice is actually Whisenhunt then the Bills will continue to be the joke of the NFL.

Well, I am not exactly sure if I am sild on Whisenhunt. On one hand he did well when he had a good QB and went to the bowl. On the other hand, he hasnt done squat since then. I just dont want to go down the Steelers retread road again.....Donahoe, Mularkey, Gailey and Whisenhunt.
I'd rather grab a college HC or a HC that has won a ring. I dont think we will get Kelly, but I do see Gruden as a sneaky candidate with his brother coming in as OC. Who knows, its only an idea.
Bills, Sabres, Yankees. Its that simple.
