First of all, Bills1, stop trolling around. You're like the Donald Trump of the board, completely clueless that everything that comes out of your mouth is a load of crap.

Second, I desperately hope that Murray declares. He's the guy I really want, but just with him declaring it would add depth to the talent pool at QB. One thing we would have going for us in terms of drafting him (if he falls to us) is that he's an SEC guy and Nix is still doing the drafting this time around. That's why I believe it'll be Murray or Wilson if either are there.

Murray is a gamer. I really believe he'll be a pro-bowler in the NFL. He throws with such accuracy and throws such a catchable ball. He may not have a rocket for an arm, but he throws the ball down the field a lot and accurately. In terms of style of play he really looks almost exactly like Drew Brees, but an inch taller and with more mobility.

He is #1 on my wish list. I don't care if he's "rated" as a 2nd round QB, if we draft him at 8 and the so-called experts say we reached, I'll be thrilled.

While his height is not ideal, I think it's one of those myths that is slowly eroding thanks to guys like Vick, Wilson, RGIII, and Brees. One or two inches of height is not going to make a big difference so long as they possess the necessary arm strength, durability, hand size and mobilty

Agree. I hope he declares as well. Comes from a 12 win Georgia team who went head to head with Alabama this year and torched the opposition in their bowl game. Everytime I have seen him play, he just has the "IT" factor that others have mentioned. I like that he has played in the SEC and has shown he can make all the throws with accuracy.

Give me Murray, sign Bowe as a FA and draft a couple thumpers for linebackers and I'd be super pumped!!!! Assuming we retain Byrd, Levitre and McKelvin as well.

I, for one, would love Murray on this team no matter who the coach is. He's got it all except height. And really, he's 2 inches in height from being the perfect quarterback when you really think about it. I think he can be a difference maker at the NFL level.
I don't get why some people knock Aaron Murry because he is 6 foot 1 inch. If he truly is 6'1" and it's not an exaggertated height, why wouldn't anyone not want this guy. Aaron Rodgers of the Packers is one of the top 3 quarterbacks in the NFL. Maybe even arguably the best QB in the NFL. Rodgers is listed at 6 foot 2. Does anyone really think one measly inch would make a difference??? If he was 5'10" I could see their arguement. But not for ONE inch. Come on, what is one inch going to do for him? If this guy comes out early and Buddy has a shot at him he better not be afraid to pull the trigger. I hope he comes out. Staying in can help you but it can also hurt you. Barkley screwed himself by not coming out last year. So did Landry. Barkley had a bad senior year and his rating went down.
Some of the QBs I wouldn't be afraid to take a chance on would be Aaron Murry, Tyler Wilson, and Geno Smith. I'm not that impressed with Glennon and Nabib for some reason. Although I really don't know, I'm not a scout who has a LOT more info on these guys. I have only watched them in one college game. You really can't tell much from one game. All I know for sure is Buffalo NEEDS a QB, Fitztragic is NOT the answer.

Everyone realizes that Murray put those numbers up in the bowl game against the #1 pass defense in the country, right? Odd thought, but if we happened to get Marrone as our HC, would he and Murray be a good combination considering Marrone's work with Brees in New Orleans from '06-'08?

If he declares, this QB draft class actually looks like a really good one, in my eyes. It would have some crazy depth and lots of talent. There may not be the absolute can't-miss prospect like last year had, but I bet if you compare last year with this year when draft time comes around, there will be many more 1st and 2nd round QBs in terms of talent this year than last year. Call me optimistic, but I think we can get our guy for years to come. Don't let us down Buddy!

    ^^^Yes, THIS!^^^

Don't take it from anyone on BBMB. Tony Dungy is way high on this guy, can't stop talking about him.

    Gotta be CJ!

I think he will be there at 8...there have been questions about his decision making, size (which is crap, but how the NFL works), and footwork. No questions about his leadership, arm strength and overall ability. I think 3 out of 4 will be there for us (our of Glennon, Murray, Barkley, Wilson). I wouldn't mind any of them, though I think Tyler Bray in the 2nd/3rd would be a STEAL.

If we take Murray at 8, I imagine most of us would be happy about that.

i can't start a thread, but i wish someone would looking at possible qb scenarios other than the draft...ie.
    1. give the jets a 5th for tebow...hey he can will a team to win and we can still draft a qb
    2. not sure where wash. stands with picks but it would seem possible to pry cousins away
3.pry mallet away from pats with 2nd?

any one of these scenrios ...and you can change tebow to drew stranton would give us the option of easily trading down and /or getting more picks...blast away

I'm in on Murray as well. If he declares who knows if he'd even make it to 8th now.

For a bit I wondered the same thing about Glennon. I have to believe Murray might not be there, teams in front of us are too QB hungry and could snatch Murray up if the kid declares.

Buffalo, would be best served to either assure they can land Murray via trade or stay pat and draft Wilson.

It does scare me he could be gone but I don't think he would be one that would rise in the combine. He is absolutely the guy we need and I hope Buddy feels the same way. I had the same feeling about Dalton as I do for this guy. He won't wow you with his athleticism but he just wins. His game tape I believe will be stronger than his combine stats.

His son played with him or at least practiced with him in HS, I don't remember which(Murray is from Tampa) - so I am not sure if he is being objective here. Dungy has him as the number one QB if he comes out - says he is hard worker who always put in extra time with his WRs.

I am fine with him but don't want to mortgage the next few drafts to move up to get him. Every single team in front of us would be in the market for a franchise QB if he is one - KC for sure, Jags need one, Raiders may give up on Palmer, Eagles yes and even Detroit(Stafford) and Cleveland (Weeden) could be in the market for one or more likely dangle the pick in front of teams to pick up extra picks in this draft or the next. Arizona could use one but is more likely to address O-line and hope a healthy and upright Kolb can win games. If he declares and grades out at the combine and workouts, he might be a top 5 pick - and he can thank Drew Brees and all the other not so tall successes in the past 10 years for his high selection.

I was out during the Sugar Bowl but it sounds like Bridgewater was smoking one of the top defense's last night - a franchise QB in the 2014 draft? Have not seen him but would be interested if anyone has an opinion.
    Looking forward to 2013:

Manuel - most upside in the draft
Woods - most pro ready WR
Alonso - tall ILB with coverage skills
Goodwin - fastest WR in draft
Duke Williams - prince of a pick
Meeks - no he is not
Hopkins - best K prospect in the draft
    Gragg - vertical threat TE

Go ahead and complain - I am happy with this draft
Adopt a Bill - first choice Alonso, second Goodwin

A lot of how much I like Murray to the bills depends on who the coach is. If it's Kelly, not sure he fits as well.

And tates, I thought bridgewater had a shot to go #1 in 2014 before the game. Now I think he is the frontrunner
