This guy is authoritative up there. Chan had no answers in his intro conference, let alone before the games were played. He always had the "uhhh, derrrrr, which way did he go? which way did he go?" kind of look and responses. Dougger is jacked up for this! He's ready!

Love this guy !!! I have so much respect and admiration for him and what he has done.
I raised my kids as Bills fans, should social services be talking to me about that ? Is that a form of child abuse ?

Just reminds me of when people were loving on Chan Gailey's "This is a tough game for tough people". I'm not down on Doug, but I'll just wait until 2013 week 1.

This has sort of been my approach... I'm 100% on board with this hire, but I'm not going nuts over his speech or his attitude.

I have tried to commit to trusting Russ, Buddy and Whaley that they will make the right choices... I'm going to stick with that and not judge any decisions that they make too harshy or too positively before seeing the results!
    Hopelessly devastated Bills fan.

Love that he said he's the coach, not the coordinator (paraphrasing) and that the Coordinators will have NFL experience.

    Lovie for DC!

However, we know you're excited about the new coaching change.
I'll wait and see too, but I think they chose the right 'direction' with picking Marrone as the Bills new identity and head coach! word.
Where would your rather be than right here right now?

Gonna miss that southern drawl every Sunday haha
Comparatively, Marrone sounds like he's ready to get to business. Bring us a ring Doug

He is very presidential. Good quality.
When will the Bills find the heir to Losman?

JMO, but people read too much into demeanor during press conferences. People got sick of the flatlining Jauron, so they got excited about Gailey's fire. By the end you could tell Gailey's fire was doused if not extinguished. This guy seems pretty even keeled.

As long as he's a good enough leader and commands the respect of the team, I don't really care what his PC's are like. The real test for him this offseason is hiring a coaching staff and personnel decisions.
