    Pettine would be a great hire. He would bring some attitude to this D. I really like the direction OBD seems to be going this time around.

    he coached a 46 hybrid. a 46 is kind of like a 34, so it's a common mistake. The thing about it though is the Ravens when he was there, and the jets the passed two years have played a forty front around half of their snaps. 34 teams need to have 43 elements these days simply because of all the spread looks they get.

    And to be perfectly honest, defense is defense. LeBeau started his coaching career running four and five man fronts, he seems to switch to three man fronts just fine(that was an example to prove a point, not a comparison).
