I've seen a lot of Barkley and have shared my thoughts many a time. I think he's the best QB out of a weak class and although he has some limitations physically, is still real good at a lot of things needed to be a successful QB.
I'm extremely impressed with his pocket-presence. That really stands out. His accuracy and decision-making are great, and they don't diminish under pressure.

down the drain along with his play... guy will be the Brady Quinn of this year's draft. Talked about as a top five pick early, then you figure out what he really is. Scares you off. I'm not complaining, he's going to bomb in the NFL.
Tis not the deed that confounds us, but the desire.

I wouldn't be surprised if Andy Reid drafts him 1st overall.

You can't use the talent argument. I hate that. It's not like he won't have NFL talent on this team.

Everyone else, I just don't like. Each has serious flaws that may not transfer well into the NFL

I believe Barkley has the LEAST of these flaws....
    Too many flaws.
I am a huge USC fan and was pretty high on Barkley until this year.
Kiffin should take some of the blame.
Totally sabotaged the year with the WR screen play over and over.
The play worked early in the season against really bad teams and Lane couldn't adjust.
Does they guy have more than 4 plays?

The other problem is the injury.
As Colin Cowherd says.. if the player gets hurt in college he is going to be hurt a lot in the pros.
    No thanks.
He has bad knees and may not play in the beginning of next year.
You just can't draft a player 8th overall knowing he isn't going to play to start the year.

I have been and will be on the Barkley train. Not many people here have ever seen Barkley play enough to pass judgement. A lot of people just regurgitate information they get on these boards.

.15 seconds in... 1:52 in you see great touch on the ball... Check out 2:42 in... if that is not a deep ball idk what is...

So, for those saying Matt can not throw the deep ball. Go do your homework, come back , put together some of your own ideas and thoughts and stop just spewing what other people write.

Barkley is the least talented? Hmm, will have to agree to disagree on that. He seem the most naturally gifted to me next to Bray. Especially I mean arm-wise, but he has good escapability too. He sometimes doesn't seem to have great arm because he puts different touch on every pass. He can do so many things effortlessly. I almost think that is a problem for him (and Aaron Murray too) - they are so talented they have been able to get away without laserlike concentration, something Nassib has in spades.
