Default Vince Young vows to make comeback

Free agent Vince Young remains determined to make a comeback.

"I made some mistakes. And when you have the type of mistakes that I have, being quarterback in the NFL, it can ruin your career," Young said in an interview with ESPN's Outside the Lines. "So right now, I'm trying to fight hard to give it another go, another shot." Young finally appears to have seen the light, but it's likely too late for a player who will turn 30 in May. Young's financial issues mean this probably won't be the last time he vows to "fight hard" to return, but the fact that he hasn't found a job in a year where so many teams have issues at quarterback bodes extremely poorly for his NFL future.

I wonder how the new coaching staff feels about this guy?

Try the CFL, Vince, the NFL is over for you.

I hope that alabamawch shows up.

I'd also like to hear from the crowd that think the bills cut him so there wouldn't be competition for Fitz, or the crowd that thinks no team wants Vince because of his financial woes. It's always amusing.

I don't think he got a fair shot but its up to an entirely new staff of coaches.

You build an offense around Vince Young and forcing him INTO YOUR offense is not likely to work.

No way. The best people are the ones who think we cut Vince Young because he's black.

What would a Vince Young centric offense look like? I'm picturing something like Tebow's Broncos in late 2011. The guy cannot pass the football. That's why he doesn't have an NFL job.

Yup... and Tim Tebow is likely to be unemployed with him soon.
