Mel Kiper has completely lost his touch if he ever had one. His mock is hilarious.

I rather go with Jarvis Jones at that spot, or grab Milliner

I'm pretty fine with that selection....and his analysis of our need.

And I don't like Notre Dame.

I agree. However, it's all about what someone wants to hear. Te'O fans will love this mock and say Kiper is spot on. If he had a quarterback there, the same people would say that he has no idea what will happen and always gets it wrong.

Well, so would I, but really don't think either will be available at #8.

I just don't see MT as a top 10 pick any longer. Most mocks adjusted after his poor showing vs. the Tide...

Jarvis Jones has the same flaws that Te'o has albeit at SAM. Not to mention he's going to have to answer a lot of 'spinal stenosis' questions during the process.

mhmm didn't know about that spinal stenosis, maybe its safer to grab Te'o. I hope if we grab Te'o we trade back a couple of spots so we get better value for that pick

I don't think the guy is elite, from what I've seen. He's the same kind of player as Shepard - intense, great leader, but lacking the raw physical talent that makes him a top prospect. Maybe the guy is the next London Fletcher, and if he is, I want him. But I don't think he's that calibre.

Yes after one game. He finally played a team that is full of NFL talent. Te'O has too many holes in his game. He makes tackles downfield. Lacks athleticism. And he was a product of unbelievable hype all season. He's overrated IMO.

Whoa Shaw. If you think Te'o is anything like Sheppard then you don't need to be commenting on who we should draft, because clearly you lack talent evaluation

If he ends up being as slow (cone drill and 40) as I keep hearing, then I think he ends up dropping pretty far.
Here's hoping '13 ends 13 years of missing the playoffs!!

I think it clarified everyones concerns about him vs NFL caliber competition. He may prove me wrong and become a perenial probowler, what do I know, I'm just a fan, but it wasn't a good sign in my opinion.

That's the key too, as some have said "one game doesn't out weight an entire college career", but elite players are supposed to ELEVATE their play when it matters most and the spotlight is on them. He clearly failed that test...

I already think this. I would much rather have Ogletree.
