Apparantly you dont start EJ Manuel, but people have these grand DE-lusions that you can start a Nassib/Dysert/Wilson from day 1? I just dont get it?
nassib could start becuz he has been in marrone's system! Manuel on the other hand, if your standing in a barn with 4 walls and he cant hit one, manuel is not even in the discussion at 8..

Arkansas QB Tyler Wilson has very small hands. (8 5/8). EJ Manuel (10 1/8) Ryan Nassib (10) Glennon (9 3/8) Jones (9)

And chalk up another win for Manuel.

Cam Newton Lite, would love to have this kid.
Wow, this actually means Nassib has rather big hands. Only 1/8th an inch smaller than Manuel and 2 inches shorter. Where's Barkley for hand measurements when you need him?

I'm not really trying to argue with you, Manuel needs work but I think he could be fixed. It took a QB guru in Jim Harbaugh to really focus Kaep into a force though. At least Manuel is a pretty good athlete too.
Kaepernick worked on his motion before the combine but it is his footwork that has improved since getting to the pros - his arm is so strong he did not always drive the ball with his legs and his release point was not consistent as a result. Compare that video to the last two weeks and you see a big difference. Colin did not have the best of WRs as well - his TE was ok but his WRs were not that great - and the pistol is rather limited in pass plays - he has more in talent and scheme now.

I want to see more of Manuel before I make up my mind - the only time I watched him it was not pretty. I saw a lot of Kaepernick as the WAC was on our regional sports network so I saw a lot of his games - the good the bad and the ugly - I have been a fan from his first year as a starter.
    Looking forward to 2013:

Manuel - most upside in the draft
Woods - most pro ready WR
Alonso - tall ILB with coverage skills
Goodwin - fastest WR in draft
Duke Williams - prince of a pick
Meeks - no he is not
Hopkins - best K prospect in the draft
    Gragg - vertical threat TE

Go ahead and complain - I am happy with this draft
Adopt a Bill - first choice Alonso, second Goodwin

Are you kidding? Rodgers has elite skills, particularly arm strength and accuracy, to compensate for any disadvantage in height in the pocket. These QB prospects are mediocre and average height will only compound their struggles. I'll note for the record once again that you just compared Nassib to Aaron Rodgers.

I watched every FSU game this year and Manuel was a huge disappointment. He's a good athlete with a good arm. But he has zero pocket presence, cannot read defenses, and makes routine poor decisions with the football. I wouldn't touch him before the third round and honestly would be surprised if he succeeded in the pros.
