I agree. I think Matt Barkley and Tyler Wilson will be solid starters in NFL and two guys that a team can build around.

Why? What has he been doing in the practices to separate himself? Some of us don't have NFL Network or can't get to a TV while working.

Wait... are people really proposing getting Matt Moore and not drafting a QB? Are people really saying that Matt Moore is better than anyone in this draft? I'm seeing it said in this thread with mine own eyes, but I can't believe it. I 100% guarantee there will be at least 1 or 2 QBs in this draft who are starters in the NFL for years to come. That's Moore than you could say for Matt.

Like others have pointed out none of the QB talent in this draft is on the elite side or maybe even 1st round material. However, the Bills have passed on QBs year after year they have to take a shot with someone this year. Do it at 8? Don't think that's a great idea considering there will be elite talent available at other positions at 8. Trading down into the 1st seems like the best way to go about it though. Then they can grab their QB whomever it may be, grab a LB, and grab a WR and roll on from there. Lets see there's Barclay, Wilson, Nassib, Smith, Glennon, Dysert, Jones, Manuel, Klein... What are the chances that not a single one of those guys are there later in the 1st or 2nd round? Realistically how many teams are looking to upgrade at QB? KC, AZ? Then you have the free agent QB's floating around. All in all none of these QB's are world beaters and at least one of them will be available past 8. Draft day will be interesting

Thank you. I'm glad somebody else agrees.

If you’re not buying into that then you don’t need to be here. You can go play for some other team. We don’t want those kinds of players on our football team."

I agree and I listed the two that I think will be solid starters in a previous post. I think people are suggesting Matt Moore because they STILL think we should wait until next year to draft a qb. That crap has to stop. Waiting til next year is why we're in this mess in the first place. Sure Teddy Bridgewater would be nice, but I don't think anyone else next year is any better than Wilson or Barkley this year.

And if the Bills manage to win a few more games next year our draft position will be worst too... so they definitely need to take someone. Matt Moore... lol

I just can't believe all these teams in need of a quarterback somehow passed on Matt Moore. I mean, if the guy is better then anyone in this class, that means he was better then alot of the guys to come out the past few years.

The whole NFL is sleeping on Matt Moore.

I agree. We sit at 8 this year. We have talent on our team and I think Marrone will get it out of these guys next year. It amazes me that people think it's that easy to just get the guy we want NEXT year when we have no idea where we'll be drafting. We could be sitting at 15 next year and have NO shot at anybody good. Then what? The time is now, especially when it seems like teams in front of us will be looking at o-line and defense.

All the QB's have warts this year. If I have to take one, give me Glennon. With that height and cannon arm he's got the physical tools, no question. Can his other flaws be fixed by the coaching staff ? Let him sit behind a vet for a year or two and find out.

That kind of player development would take a lot of discipline by OBD (and patience by the fans). But it ultimately might give the best result for the franchise long term.
