Didn't guys say to pass on Kaepernick & Wilson because Barkley would be coming out this year?

    Time to bite the bullet.
Take a top 3 QB in the first round this draft and a top 3 round QB next.
We didn't know which QB (not named Luck or RGIII) was going to step up this season.
and neither you or I know which one will step up next season.
To say there is no QB worthy of our pick is rediculous.
If a Dalton/Ponder clone is the best this draft has to offer so be it.
I would rather he be in B-lo than have Fitz/Smith/Vick lead the Bills against him.

I was on my soap box last off season against taking a QB in the draft because I felt the team was too weak.
I felt we would have set him up for failure without a solid D and a good O-line.

I think we are at the point where we can no longer be observers in the QB lotto. Time to get ours.

Exactly. I love how everyone thinks next year's draft will be SOOOO great, but this one sucks. Is it just me, or are those people banking on underclassmen declaring next year? Bridgewater and Manziel may not even declare. Then what? I am on record saying Manziel is overrated anyways. He's a little runt that has two amazing linemen. They both would have gone top 5 if Matthews declared. People bash Barkley (a legit quarterback) because he had good receivers. Yet Manziel gets a free pass? He's just the flavor of the month with a fun nickname. Bridgewater is the real deal, but he may go back to school or have a down year as well. Murray is good, but the same thing can happen to him. He can have a down year and people will say he shoud have come out this year. It's a crapshoot, but you have to take a qb when the cards fall in your favor. If Barkley or Smith is there at 8, I think they will bite.

I think five years from now, they will be viewed as the best qb's in this class. For me, anyone else would be a stop gag.

Are you starting a "suck for Bridgewater" campaign, because that's what it may take to get him. Or is there some sarcasm at work here that I missed?

I like your idea we know Alex takes care of the ball. trade our 8 for more pics of draft some studs lbs, wrs or dbs

These days, unless you're lucky enough to draft #1 in a year when an Andrew Luck is available, going BPA means you don't draft a QB. Seriously, a QB will NEVER be the BPA because some other team will draft them way before they get close to that. If we draft BPA, it'll mean Fitz forever, or Alex Smith with nobody behind him but maybe Tarvaris and a UDFA.

IMHO they really are two great QBs when they come out, Manziel and Bridgewater. But they'll go either #1 and #1 if they come out in different years, or #1 and #2 if they don't. We won't have a shot at them. If you want a shot at those guys, we'd need to rebuild and dump guys like Byrd and Levitre and trade Kyle Williams and Dareus and Mario and Stevie for draft picks. Then we'd have a shot.

I myself think that would be insane. But it's about the only way to get the elite guy who'll go #1.

Maybe top 5.

"I personally agree with Mayock. I've said this all year. I can guarantee that there will be a run on qb's in the first. This class is better than most think. They just have the bad "luck" of following last year's crop". I think the only qb's that will be considered at 8 are Smith, Barkley, Wilson, and (maybe) Glennon. quoted by whorlnuts....1/22/13

Or just draft this years Blaine Gabbert and throw him to the wolves. Should be good enough for the 1st or 2nd pick.

This coming from a guy that touts Fitz as the second coming. You have lost all credibility on this board.

Lol...dude you are one big contradiction! You say I have a crystal ball cause I think this QB class stinks. But your on record saying Barkley & Geno will be viewed as the best in this class. Can I borrow your crystal ball then? If there isn't a franchise QB in this draft...then I look like the greatest scout in the world. But, if there isn't any...well, my Bills team will be the talk of the nation...so either way it's a win, win for me lol. Now how are you going to argue that? Ctfu!

I guess worldnut really can't argue his contradicting point about his crystal ball.
