Ryan Nassib. Don't hate the pick, just not at 8. As far as trading down like NE. That usually works for teams that know how to make the most of their picks and know how to evaluate talent. Bills need not apply.

Glennon. Hands Down.
Although this team is picking at pick number 8, I think that we are only a few players away from making the playoffs IF we address our little FITZY PROBLEM.....
BUT we should NOT select any QB in this WEAK WEAK QB draft.
If we go and get Alex Smith off the street, this team is an immediate contender for a wild card shot IMO. So I do not think this is a year we should trade down. If we add Alex Smith, than I think we need to bring in the best available LINEBACKER because we are OLD at the position, and we need a youth infusion there. Honestly, forget about the drama and select ILB Manti Teo.
So on to the "hat throwing question"..... If we pick a QUARTERBACK that is not worth a top 10 selection (i.e. any of the QB's in this draft), I'd throw my hat.....
I'd also throw my hat if we traded down. We need the best players available.

The Teo haters are blinded by stupid media-driven stories.....
The kid can play football. Forget about the drama. It's not like he killed somebody or has a gun charge.
He's just a STUPID PERSON. This is football, not "Algebra Class". He's by far the best linebacker in the draft, and was a heisman candidate... I don't care if he's STUPID and/or gullable. ALL I care about is that if the game is on the line with 3rd and short, can he make the stop?
Answer: YES!
Nassib at 8 would kill the very slim hopes I do have for Marrone and his Orange staff. Of course every broadcaster, analyst or former player in a suit and tie would blast the pick but the same fans who love the 'cuse connection would be as giddy as ever and start making illogical rationalizations for the pick - followed by illogically rationalized excuses for losing this fall.
I think any QB at 8 would be a mistake. I keep hearing "we can't win with Fitzpatrick, we need a young QB" which this time next year becomes "of course we didn't win , we had a young QB". Ugh.
There is no Pinstripe Bowl in the NFL, either you're playing to win the Super Bowl or you're not really playing for anything.
Random thought what if we did this for like 3 straight drafts and then ended up with like 5 top 10picks? That'd be interesting...

Any position that isn't QB.
Call me crazy or call me maybe....but WR Patterson...I like the kid but Nix uses his first pick on guys that have starting experience and Patterson has played 1 year, not saying he won't e good just don't think he's a top 8 player in the draft and if the Bills don't go QB in the first they need to take a top 8 player
If either Barkley or Smith are there at #8 and we pass, that might do it for me.
