Thread: Is Levitre done as a Bill?

Default Is Levitre done as a Bill?

Unless he's wants to go somewhere else, I have a hard time believing the Bills want to lose arguably their best offensive lineman. Especially considering how Nix has said his #1 priority when he took the GM job was to fix both lines. Can't imagine he'd be this close to solidifying our offensive line only to let Levitre walk. Levitre said at the end of the year that on a scale of 1-10 he's a 10 at his desire to be back with the Bills.

I think the best bet is to franchise Byrd and then do whatever it takes to re-sign Levitre.

With Wilson, Kelsay, Fitz and McGee chewing up space, there is no excuse why any of them should be on the roster and Levitre isnt

I fail to see why anyone is concerned. I have no doubts that Levitre will be resigned
Watch out AFC.. The Beast of the East is merely napping

saved for future reference...in regards to 2013 QB's.

All that needs to be said about the QBs is that they're all flawed and mediocre and shouldn't be taken anywhere in the first round. None of them.

Add Brad Smith on that list as well and good point. A lot of wasted money being spent to where there is no reason both Levitre and Byrd aren't Bills for a long time.

If he wants 8-9 million per year I let him walk. With the glaring needs across this roster paying that kind of money to a guard is absurd.

Not when you have $35M+ in cap space.

LaCanfora had a list out of the best FA and he wasn't even in the top 5 FA O-lineman. I think he comes back.

Don't get me wrong... I think he's a good lineman, but his run blocking is below average... I would like a mauler on the left side with glenn... JMO

I tend to agree. There should be no argument Wood is the best lineman on their line. Urbik and Rinehart are only a notch below Levitre and the main reason I want to keep him is he doesn't miss any time but we can live without him.

Wow you want to pay him 8-9 million dollars a year? For a guard? I want him back but not at that price. Just because you have $35 mil in cap space (not sure if that is correct) doesn';t mean you just start throwing around big $$$ to whomever wants it. We have other needs you know, like almost every position.

I think it's possible he could get 7 ... 7.5, if his agent wants to push him out to the market.

He's good but balanced against other team needs, it may be better to use some of that on an LB or two, a WR.

If we went that route, we'd need to keep Rinehart though.

I believe thats the direction they will go. Re-sign Rinehart if Levtire wants top guard money

I pay him 6-7 per year Max. Urbik resigned and to be honest not that big of a drop from Levitre.

I like him don't get me wrong but he is a 6-7M per year player.

I was actually referring to the quote under yours who was replying to your statement, which would have been apparent if you had better reading comprehension. Ironic huh?
