What are your thoughts about going after him to complement Stevie?

If Stevie is going to the slot then wouldn't they be in the position? I am not sure on this, but Harvin plays all over. Even when the Defense knows that are going to him they couldn't stop him. I really like him if we could get him I would say go for it.

I like him but he is over paid and injury prone
Ehh, he's not worth what it would take get him. He's got a lot of injuries, including a migraine issue which can pop at any moment. Besides, don't think the Vikes are willing to part with him.
Harvin is toxic. He has been "difficult" since he first showed up in Minny. There is lots of backstory, and I'm not gonna waste my time laying it out....google Paul Allen/Harvin.
Basicly, the Vikes sent Harvin home because of a very bad arguement with a "coach" on the sidelines in practice.
Next day, Harvin's on IR, moves out of his minnesota home and was not seen again.
Harvin has talent, but may not be worth it in the end.
If my team could get Percy Harvin, I'd be absolute ecstatic.
I think a lot of people round these parts don't appreciate what he can bring to an offense and are doing the typical tear down bull**** that people around often do.
Is this your homework Larry?
Percy harvin, TJ Graham and CJ Spiller, our team might be almost impossible to cover with those 3 guys on the field all at the same time, although this article on NFL.com says he may be asking in the price range of 10 mil per season and the Vikings are also looking for a 2nd to 3rd round pick to boot, that is a very steep price but there is no doubt he could totally change this entire offense. He still isn't worth 10 mil per season though..... http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100...y-harvin-trade
No matter what anyone says about him, the guy is productive. I don't care about anything other than his production, and he is a productive football player.
gunna have to pay 10+mil a year for an injury prone, head-case, slot reciever. no thanks. While the kid is extremely talented, It would be a terrrrible move by our front office.
Welcome to Buffalo!

It's hard to believe he's only 24 years old. It would be a high risk high reward type move. 10 million per year is a lot to ask for (Stevie makes 7.5 mil annually) considering he's never eclipsed 1000 yards receiving in a season. If we can get him for a 2nd and maybe 8 million a year I would be for it. Anything more the Bills should look elsewhere.

Let me put it to you this way,,
Imagine spiller/harvin/grahm/(fast qb hopefully)/ on the field at the same time... EEEEP
Vick, Geno Smith or Manuel would be pretty explosive with those guys around them....
Harvin is very consistent (at least 750 yards every year) however I think he's a 6-7m guy, has injuries and should be cheaper than welker and cruz. High ceiling with out injuries because of his age. Personally i'd take him over Bowe or Jennings. Plus guys who can turn 5 yards into a homerun and can easily separate from coverage make rookie QB's look a lot better. I'd definitely consider a 3rd rounder considering the hit and miss nature of the draft and our glaring need for a WR. (1st or 2nd rounder could be spent on Patterson or possibly Tavon Austin who could probably amount to close to what harvin is for much less cap)
The Bills have enough players who are able to beat coverage with speed/agility. This team needs a WR who beats coverage with size, someone you can throw the ball to no matter how well hes covered. Especially if you have a rookie QB starting.
