Trade our first round pick at #8 to trade down to St. Louis for #16 and #45.
    1a.) Cordarelle Patterson – WR – Tennessee
    2a.) Tyler Eifert – TE – Notre Dame/Zach Ertz – TE – Stanford
    2b.) Khaseem Greene – OLB – Rutgers
    3.) Tyler Bray – QB – Tennessee
    4.) Jon Bostic – ILB – Florida

What do you all think is it realistic? And would you like to see this happen?

Greene is more of WLB. Great in coverage and a good blitzer but not a full-time pass rusher.

So he'd fit as the WILL ILB in a 34 more than de/olb. Rather get a de/olb then 2 ILB (in a 34) in Greene and Bostic.

And then you would have 0 linebackers who can cover.

I like the picks but I really don't see why St. Louis would trade up. All the analysts have commented that there is little talent difference in picks 5-25. If you were st. louis you'd much rather have two first round picks than the 8th pick.

Why not put Nassib at #3 as he's not getting drafted until the 3rd round.

But I don't think Lattimore lasts to the 5th even with the injury.
    ADOPT A BILL:
Cordy Glenn - let him play left tackle people. Geesh!

My expectations for our new coach are simple.
    1. Have the ability to locate decent stop gap players that are better players than the last ones who were on this roster for far too long.
    2. Win as many games as you can, but when you lose ... get beat, don't follow in the steps of your predecessors who seemed to try and find new and inventive ways to loose winnable games.

Sorry, misunderstood what you were trying to say. I thought you meant you would rather get 1 pass rushing LBer as opposed to the 2 he listed. I agree, Greene + a rush backer would be better. Bostic is too similar to Shep.

Bray's such an interesting guy to me. More talent as a QB than anyone else in this draft or most recent drafts... but I don't think you can fix what's upstairs.

They're probably hoping they can get Warmack/Fisher and would possibly move up to get one. Tennessee and San Diego both need O-line help so they more then likely would want to jump them.

Exactly, people don't get that we keep spinning our wheels at the QB position by drafting/signing in FA mid to late round QBs and get stuck with crap like Fitzpatrick, Trent Edwards, Kelly Holcomb, and Brian Brohm.
