2013 Adopt-a-Bill: Stephon Gilmore
Rehab
There is no Pinstripe Bowl in the NFL, either you're playing to win the Super Bowl or you're not really playing for anything.
He should only be used on obvious passing situations. He is not known for his run stopping ability and he should only be on the field in 3rd and long situations.
He signed a 4 year $21/M contract last year but only $8M guaranteed. He only made about $3.4M last year in base salary and bonus's and this year he's set to make about $4M but it's not until 2014-2015 where he starts making close to around $6M+ a year so I think he's safe this year but if he plays this year like he did last year then he'll be gone in 2014.
Unfortunately I don't see Mark being here 18,123 years from now

i don't know. i wasn't thrilled about the pickup originally. i just can't see him making any difference. i think it's wasted money. what if we cut anderson, sign michael johnson from cinci and have carrington and moore rotating with mario and johnson?
i can't see the bills in very many 3-4 looks this year. i sure hope troupe somehow turns into a miracle.
Didn't Pettine already say that Dareus was his NT? I hope for a good season for Troup as well. He needs a break. Could we use Anderson to sweeten up a draft day deal for an extra pick or moving back up into the 1st? We'd have to draft a 3-4 OLB in the top 2 rounds like one of many 1st round ranked guys or a couple possible 2nd rounders like Greene.
2013 Adopt-a-Bill: Stephon Gilmore
Nickel DE and Pass Rush specialist.
Hopelessly devastated Bills fan.
20136...his role will be the same as mine....dead....lol.
I think his role will be the same as it was with the Pats, situational pass rusher and used in blitz packages. Wanny struggled to get use out of his front four....the Jets get a lot of production out of their blitz packages and IMO, the Bills front four are better than what the Jets have had the last two years.
With that said, he needs to produce as a pass rusher this year or cut him as soon as the season ends.
FIRE BUDDY NIX!!!
This is ironic. I had a dream last night that he got cut.
GO BILLS!
Our D will have 3-4 fronts and 4-3 fronts, so I voted other because the answer is about 3 of those choices.
R.I.P. Bob Kalsu!!
IN THE BATTLE OF CANCER VERSES JIM KELLY. MY MONEY IS ON JIM KELLY.!!!
4-3 Defensive End of course.
That is why they signed him, that is where he will most likely play.
In his brief stint last season, he played better against the run than any other D-lineman.

I honestly won't be surprised if he's released at some point this offseason, especially if there are any lingering concerns about his knee.
If he does make the team though I see him as a rotational guy, specifically to rush the passer on the 3rd down because he's certainly not a 3 down player despite what Nix believes about him.
ADOPT A BILL:
Cordy Glenn - let him play left tackle people. Geesh!
My expectations for our new coach are simple.
1. Have the ability to locate decent stop gap players that are better players than the last ones who were on this roster for far too long.
2. Win as many games as you can, but when you lose ... get beat, don't follow in the steps of your predecessors who seemed to try and find new and inventive ways to loose winnable games.
