Default 2014: Need to learn how to win under pressure!!!

    Buffalo Bills

They don't need much, this team is pretty solid defensively, re-sign Byrd, add some depth,
improve O-line, perhaps upgrade at tight end or receiver.... Really, really need to figure out
how to win games when they count. Don't know what the secret formula is, but if we can
learn to win games that have playoff implications, we could finally be in the playoff mix.

"Learning to win games" is a cliche but it's never been as evident as this year for the Bills.

Be nice if they played as well as they have the past few years the week after they've been eliminated. Don't know why they play their best football when it's too late, but wish they could do it when we need them to.
The Buffalo Bills, rebuilding since the mid 90's!

They need to win the close games. The Bengals, Chiefs, Patriots, and Atlanta games should've of all been wins. Bills should be the 5th or 6th seed tonight.

Chan Gailey 12/26/2010 - Pass rush would of helped a couple of those. That guy (Tom Brady) stood back there forever and someone finally come open.

Pressure is a funny thing. Bills' need some swagger. If they can upgrade their line and keep Jackson and Spiller they can learn to win games that they get ahead by just lowering the boom and running it down other teams throats. Please draft a tackle or guard in first two rounds!!!!!

We are 2 solid O-Lineman, A solid run stuffing LB, a playmaking TE, better special teams/offensive playcalls and Consistent play from EJ away from playoffs imo.

Yes they really do appear close IF EJ can stay healthy and get just a bit better.

Keep Thad as a back up too. He's played well for them.

Having a receiver that can make plays in the clutch will be important. We need a number one. The line has looked much better the past few weeks but I agree we can get better

    Get better. It's that simple.

Do that and you "learn to win under pressure."

Get better players and teach them very well.

    Bills 24 - Panthers 23

    Bills 23- Ravens 20

    Bills 23 - Dolphins 21

    Bills 27 - Jaguars 20

They don't need to win the close games. They are around 4-4 in close games this year, depending how you define "close".

Year after year after year people make this argument and overlook the obvious, that many of our wins are also close. And that's the way it is in the NFL, probably 1/2 to 2/3s of all games will be close, even for the good teams. All the if-onlys, and What-ifs, and could'ves and should'ves amount to absolutely nothing.

We didn't win the games we lost ... wait for it ... because we weren't good enough. We won the games we won because we WERE good enough. Get better, and we'll be good enough to win more games.

They need to win more, it's that simple. And they'll do that when they get better players who're more familiar with the scheme and have some experience.

The Bills are 4-4 in close games.....that's typically what you would expect.
    Is this your homework Larry?
