Not sure if this is posted on here or not. I don't have a name for it either.

Take a foot long hot dog, wrap it in hamburger, then wrap it in bacon. Cook it on the grill. You have a meal.

    Yep we got it!

You can find them in the very first page in this thread: Bacon Burger Dogs!

Ok. I get it. This is where you tell me that "locals rule", and that Yuppie insects like me shouldn't be surfing the break, right?
Nope. That would be a waste of time.

    Maple Glazed Baby Potatoes

2 lbs baby (mini) white potatoes
    1/3 cup maple syrup
    1 tsp worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp cider vinegar
    2 tbsp olive oil
pinch of sea salt and black pepper

Place potatoes in a pot of boiling water, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove potatoes and allow to cool.

Once potatoes have cooled, cut potatoes in half. In a large bowl,
or freezer bag; toss potatoes in olive oil, salt, and pepper.

In a bowl, combine maple syrup, worcestershire sauce, and cider vinegar. Mix well.
Pre-heat grill to medium heat (325-350 degrees) direct grilling.

Place potatoes on grill, cook for a few minutes, then flip. Begin to brush
maple glaze onto the potatoes; cook for another few minutes and flip.
    Add more glaze.

Continue this process until potatoes are warmed through. Aprox. 10 minutes.
Remove potatoes from grill and serve ‘em up!

    Wild West Beans

    4 cups navy beans (dry)

    2 lbs. smoked pork hock

    1/2 cup black coffee

    1/4 cup sugar

    1/2 cup brown sugar

    2 cups beef broth

    1/3 cup molasses

1 can 28 oz. whole tomatoes

    1 tbsp garlic powder

    1 tbsp black pepper

    1 tsp onion powder

    1 tsp dry mustard

1 tsp chipotle powder (or 2 dashes of chipotle hot sauce)

    2 shots of bourbon

Soak navy beans in a large bowl of water over night.

Drain beans and add to a Dutch oven or large disposable pan.
Add remaining ingredients, and mix well. Cover with lid or tin foil.

Start a open fire in a fire pit.
    * You want this fire to be a nice gentle fire, not a roaring one.

    Place beans about 12-16 inches above fire. Let cook, stirring occasionally;
until beans are softened and the pork is shredding.
    * This could take 6 hours or up to 9 hours.
Once beans are softened, shred pork into the beans, remove bone, and serve.

    This is a great rustic recipe, in the style of the old west! I wanted the taste and style of the wild west;
cooking this on an open fire is really the only way to go! (hence the reason for
no real cooking times or temperatures)

So as your cooking up your ribs, brisket, chicken, and maybe some corn bread;get an open flame and make some of these bad boys!!! This recipe feeds an army; enjoy!
